So, Melty Blood has a bunch of random lines running through the sprites and backgrounds after I updated my drivers. How can I remedy this?

As pictured. They popped up in sprite based/2d games after I updated my drivers, which incidentally also ruins movie playback. While I can roll back my drivers to fix video issues, the lines don't change. Very frustrating and I mostly gave up playing MB due to this graphical issue.

Turn down your hardware acceleration.

I used to have the same problem.
I have to modify how my video card handles programs and turn down my settings a bit.
Pic related.

Hmm, weird issue is that I used to have the same kind of menus when I first bought my computer, but either I can't find them anymore, or they've vanished.

I guess I could turn down the hardware acceleration.

That problem is due to FSAA usually. Turn it off.
