The Windows games are actually prequels to the PC-98 games. The current Reimu will one day kill Sanae, who will in turn become the evil spirit of the Hakurei Shrine. A great cataclysm will occur that will cause almost all of Gensokyo's current youkai bigwigs, including the gods,Yukari, the SDM, etc., to die out.

The years will go by, the current Reimu will marry and die in childbirth, and her husband will be forced to raise young Reimu Jr. by himself, until he is killed by Mima.

The only other major survivors will be Shanghai, who will have been granted life by her master, and given the Grimoire. Her master will have died in the process, so to honor her, she takes on that person's name. Yuka will have also survived, and will for the most part, remain unchanged, though with most of the competition out of the way, she truly will become the strongest in Gensokyo (for a few years, at least).

Would work if Alice and Yuka didn't reference the PC98 games already.

Actually, time is a cube. Google it. Enjoy the confusion/rage.

Theoretical hogwash, with no real consequences for humanity even if it is true.

Perhaps, but so is the statement that "time is a continuum". Lets be honest: we have no fucking clue how time really works.

Sure we do. We experienced the past, we experience the present, and will experience the future. That's all we need to know.

Did we? Do we have any evidence beyond falsifiable memories?
Will we? How do we know that our existence continues?

It doesn't matter if it's all a lie. It's how humanity experiences time. We could all be plates of butterfly sashimi, but as there will never be a way to prove such a thing, we must live on as humans.

You'd go far at a philosophy symposium.

"And so, as Descates said..."
"Descartes was a faggot. Screw this. Follow me everyone, we're going to the beach."

Sure is a lot more interesting than the eternally armchair-bound philosophy you see nowadays. I prefer to find out for myself rather than sit and theorize.
