I just started using a Joystick to play danmaku. The stick seems kinda sensitive (dunno if thats with all) but it seems works out pretty good. Captured 4 out of 7 Spell Cards on IN Stage 6A on Hard in the first try.

Actually I think I'm going to start playing higher difficults.

So, any of you have left the keyboard to only play with joystick or you just switch regulary? Have you seen any degradation in your keyboard skills after playing with joystick for a long time?

That's a lot of Dakka for one cosplayer

I tried using an Xbox 360 controller for SA once. It felt weird and the buttons are not designed for being held down for long periods of time (hand cramps) and I couldn't get the triggers to work, unfortunately. I thought it made me play more sloppy and overcompensate. Keyboards forever.

I tried switching but I'm much better with a keyboard and I'd rather not go through the hassle of getting better again.

Focus is a pain in the ass. Either if it is a button on the back or a normal one. Also, you can get confused sometimes when trying to bomb, I keep pressing buttons which do nothing.

I prefer a joystick, to be honest.

I initially had the same problem as >>1625625 but I found that using the shoulder buttons for focusing and shooting made it a lot more comfortable.

No ammo belts, hanging magazines, only a single rifle?

That's not even a nob.

Y'know
The sticks in the back looks like is on the Eirin cosplayer and makes it look like it's the ammo for the sniper rifle.

Keyboard was here.

Joystick is a loser.

Not really, I played with Joystick for more than a month. Then I switched to keyboard and had to play for about 15 minutes to get used to it again.

I have been trying to get one of these. I'm just fucking poor.

I'm using a dual analogue gamepad with a similar setup, random XFX one that has an almost identical layout to a 360 controller.

Started with r/l triggers but quickly moved to shoulder buttons.
