A Helpful Guide to Trolling

It has come to my attention that the vast majority of you do not know how to troll and do not know what a good troll is. What most of you see as troll, is in fact, nothing but petty flames or desperate attempts. Trolling is not that difficult, but good trolling takes skill; thus, I will tell you the ten aspects of a good troll (and since you guys like to rate trolls, you can use this as a scoring guide)

Rule 1: This is by far the most important rule - you break this, you are fucked. It's game over and you should give up, hang your head in shame, receive your zero, accept your failure, and better yourself another day.

NEVER ADMIT THAT YOUR ARGUMENT IS FLAWED, THAT THE OPPOSING ARGUMENT IS CORRECT, OR THAT YOU'RE A TROLL.

Just keep to that simple logic, and while your skills may be horrid and no one is taking the bait, you're at least on the path to being a good troll someday. The other important rules (ordered by importance) are:

I somewhat disagree with the first two points. You need to give a little occasionally so the other party thinks they are getting somewhere, making their inevitable RAGE ever so much more sweet.

2. Never make it obvious that you're trying to insight inflammatory responses; be a little subtle in your attempt. If one or two people call you out for trolling, ignore them; if nearly everyone does it, you have done something wrong.

3. Never let the discussion get off topic or die unless you're the one doing so.

4. A troll should always strive for quality over quantity. What good is your bait if no one is falling for it.

5. ...However, that's not to say that a troll shouldn't go for hit count; having everyone take part is much more satisfying than trolling just one or two users.

6. If the discussion ever begins to degrade into nothing more than simple flaming, you must prevent that from happening at all cost or else the topic is dead.

7. A troll should not always rely on Straw man and Ad hominem attacks; while these methods could be good in a pinch, they should never be your main rebuttal.

8. A troll with good enough bait can just sit back and have the other users fight with one another; however, you should always control the argument to make sure it doesn't fade away.

9. A troll should never forget his good friend, the sockpuppet; if the discussion is going nowhere or if you're losing, create some supporters and continue the fight.

Holy shit /jp/, you will not belive what happened to me the other day.

So my friends came over to my place, we were about to irl roleplay some touhous, and this one jackass cosplaying Alice whips out this fucking huge flask and gulps half of the thing down. I'm not sure if anyone else saw it, but things got pretty bad.

It all started innocently enough; we were having a tea party and then out of the blue, Marisa spilled his tea all over Alice's dress. It was an honest mistake, but that wouldn't matter. Alice was fucking wasted, he took a swing and caught Marisa in his lower jaw. Blood was pouring from his mouth. The rest of us watched in disbelief as Alice squated over a now barely conscious Marisa. And took a shit.

All over him.

At this point I had ran back inside, grabbed my BB Pistol (It's pretty real lookin) and hauled ass back to the tea party, everyone else had left and Marisa, now lying on the dirt, half coved in tea, half covered in leaked poop, either in shock or otherwise I was unsure. Alice jumped out of the bushes, ran towards me but just couldn't make it; for his dress was caught on a branch and he was drunk as fuck, right next to a humungous truck in a two-car garage.

Hopping out with two broken legs, trying to walk it off he said, "Fuck you too bitch, call the cops. I'ma kill you and them loud ass muthafuckin barkin dogs" and when the cops came through Me and Marisa stood next to a burnt down house; with a can full of gas and a hand full of matches and still weren't found out. Marisa never came over to my house again and that was the last time I ever saw him.

The moral of the story: Roleplaying makes you a jackass.

But one thing is to come here for certain reasons, just to post, and another to come and get involved in LOL DRAMA, whenever you want or not.

First of all, you don't need to fucking know whoever posts or not in /jp/, and you're in no position to demand general opinions whatsoever.
Second, shut the fuck up with trips or not trips, in the end, we're all a bit of the same pile of shit because people like you, if you have a cynical reason to blame someone's opinion because you think that person is being an hypocrite, many people believe that you're way worse than half of the Tripfiends ever spawned on /jp/, including CurryBut.
I am raging hard because half of the time I see you in /jp/, you are creating LOL DRAMA, and not ignoring half of the faggots that attack you in the opportunity of fucking up with a random idiot they can mess with.
You first need to grow a fucking spine if you plan to criticise other tripfiends or not atttitudes towards you.

I've done wonders with trolling japanese translations simply by being absolutely right. Everything they have to counter is always flawed. Hence, you find any point they are wrong, ignore anything that you might have said that was unclear and continue to assault their point until it is clear that you've gone to page 10.
