Have you ever witnessed a love so pure that made you wonder if you had ever really loved at all?

I once watched a hobo jerk off onto a fire extinguisher, break down in tears, then start hugging it.

I'll never experience love that strong.

But I don't need any weird experience to know that..

I would honestly argue I dont know what love is.
Everyone in HS spent a lot of effort on girls, I did fuck all and just shitposted on here, watched anime, read manga and played videogames.

Does the fact I dont care about relationships mean I dont know love? The 4chan community was the thing I felt the most connection too, and now it's shittier than ever.

Does /jp/ know what love is?

I was educated by Jesuits.

According to what I was taught, love is not an emotion. Neither it is a feeling or lust. It is the honest desire for the happiness of another person and their well being.

So far, I have not found a better definition or ideal. Ad maiorem Dei gloriam.

If you're here then they didnt do a very good job. Then again I hear /pol/ has a Japanese nun who shitposts from the Vatican.

As for that, that would mean if a girl cheated on you, you would be ok with it becuase "it makes her happy" or some bullshit.
I cant say I want to experience that kind of love. Love should never be to the point where you totally disregaurd yourself and become a slave.

Also Jesuits are a joke, mainly becuase the Pope is one and he's spineless as fuck (and apaprently let in some muslims, but abandoned Christians). But thats off topic.
Wasnt it also the Jesuits who pissed off Japan and got Christians there persecuted? Good job dipshits.
Why is there a jesuit on /jp/ of all places?

I'm in love with the girlfriend of my best friend. She's bulimic and addicted to benzodiazepines. I've never told her about my feelings and I think she regards me as just another friend of hers.

I can't tell if my love is pure or just fucked up.

They got Christiand in Japan killed by trying to erode Japanese culture and Stalin was one. Jesuits are shit.

Again you may be functional, but the fact you're on here shows you didnt turn out correct after how they raised you. Or do Jesuits have no problem with lewd touhou threads, idols, JAV, etc.

Yeah she wouldnt love you, but you're supposed to deal with that and love her anyway, as thats what love is, apparently.

Pretty sure it was the Shogun who didn't want their peasants getting out of their grip, specially after the Amakusa insurrection.

I don't touch those you mentioned. How some people manage to maintain entertained with such pointless drivel is beyond me.

You have some retarded NTR tier logic. I would not be surprised if you are one of those retards who like to slather it over everything.

They saw Japanese Christians being encouraged to act like westerners and even take western names. Their fears were justified due to Jesuits not letting Japanese culture and Christianity co-exist.

If you dislike those threads, what do you like?
Who is your favourite 2hu?

Duh. Both are mutually exclusive when you declare that the Emperor is nothing more than just another average joe with a fancy hat and not a divinity. And since he is not a god, there is no reason to obey him.

Yuyusama is my favorite.

Only thats bullshit as prior to that, they had no issues with Christianity in Japan and were pretty tolerant of other religions.
For the record, Buddhism effectively has no gods. They exist, but arent worshiped and are beings trapped here like the rest of us. Buddha even defeated one god I cant remember who.
Japs were fine with Buddhism, a religion where god status means very little. Rome also managed to maintain it's empire just fine after adopting Christianity.

Atleast your taste isnt terrible. I figured you would like Eirin most, I'm see her as an almost saintly figure using her powers to heal everyone. Including the poor given her lax attitudes towards paying her back. I could be cynical and say she jsut does it for a purpose, but she could spend her time doing other shit, yet she works. I always admired Eirin for that. (Right after Yukari)

So are you jsut educated by them, or a priest/monk?
I dont want to turn this to blogshit, but I'm genuinely suprised to see people like you on /jp/.

Anon, Buddhist has a very bloody history in Japan. They gathered too much power and were slain into submission when they got too rowdy. Go look up the Siege of Nara.

I was merely educated by them. I had lots of good experiences with them in regards of education, science and philosophy.

I came to like Yuyuko thanks to Bloom Nobly, Cherry Blossoms of Sumizome and Border of Life when I played PCB. Perhaps one of ZUN's best moments.

Buddhism was far more assimilated and part of Japan than Christianity has, and will be.
Even if Zen Buddhism is heretical.

Kinda dissapointed you arent a priest. It would have been interesting to see a priest otaku, the latin phrase made me think you were clergy. That and introducing yourself with being raised by Jesuits.

I didnt really care for her music for some reason, never got the appeal. I think ZUN blew his laod early with lots of amazing music in earlier games, and some ok stuff now. I think EoSD was his strongest music wise, but thats mainly because Shanghai teahouse is my favourite track.
