I like almost all Touhous. Yukari is probably my favorite over all.
ZUN makes good character designs. Even if he portrays them poorly.

For all around character design, Tenshi has the most appeal to me. Her color scheme is bold and strikingly pleasing to the eyes, sexy boots, and Iku hat + peaches. I used to intensely dislike her character personality, but her appearance is so good that I've completely overlooked it and is now one of my favorite Touhous.

Aya's at the opposite end of the spectrum; simple and plain, but I love it just as much. Black and white color scheme, short black hair, and a unobtrusive tengu cap.

And I must be one of the few who likes IaMP/IN/SWR Yukari over PCB Yukari.

This. ZUN's artwork ranges from bad to atrocious depending on the day of the week, phase of the moon, and level of sobriety. But he has a knack for producing unique and distinct characters. As opposed to artists like Aoi Nishimata (one of my favorite artists) who do fantastic artwork, but recycle the same exact design over and over and just palette swap them like Dragon Quest monsters.

I like all of the touhou character designs. They are all unique in a sense.

One of my favourites is Hina. With that weird ribbon on her head, the front hair being tied together and her nice clothes plus her spining habit, i can describe it on one word. Gorgeous
