I only got my first soft girl a few months ago. It's just becoming compulsive at this point.
On a related note, I have a Marissa as well, the V2, that I originally picked up when they went up on amiami a while ago for a Christmas present for a friend of mine. I think its really cute. The pose is dynamic, and the detail on the skirt is well done. The face, while not spectacular, is far above Griffon quality, though my camera's flash is making it look weird. The only thing that bothers me is how high up the skirt is. I originally wanted to keep her up where Flan is right now, but that would result in me staring right up her skirt, and I don't like sexualizing Koishi.
As far as 2hu figs go, its pretty high-tier, much better than Griffon's stuff. I've wanted the Ques-Q Yuyuko for a while now too, but I can never find her at a decent price.
I can take more pictures if you want.

I've had a Tewi fumo for months.
I haven't taken the tags off and I mostly have her sitting on my computer desk watching me beat nerds up. I move her somewhere that's visible from my bed on the morning of the first day of a month as a reminder to rabbit rabbit when I wake up in the afternoon.
I've never cuddled with her. I have pet her head a couple times and always keep her in a clean spot.
Am I doing it wrong? I have a daki of my wife. Tewi is just my precious little sister.

Nobody likes Kiddy, but the item locations and secrets are a lot more fair and interesting than the first one. I'm not done with it yet, but one complaint I have is that the music is lackluster. Other than that, I'm having a great time with it.

Depends. On AmiAmi, they can go for around 3,500 JPY, which is like, about 30 obamas. However, those ones are from a trustworthy source that most likely buys in bulk from gift. We'll call these stores that seem to get their fumos from gift in bulk "proxies".

Fumos are a bit like action figures; they're only produced in finite quantities. People on Amazon and other such sites that aren't gift or proxies, they're resellers that happened to snag one. The reason that the resellers sell them for the prices that they do is for 3 reasons:

1) As said before, they're only produced in finite quantities, which makes them valuable and highly collectible.

2) The people buying them are otaku enthusiasts who typically have disposable income and are willing to spend much more than most people would on this sort of thing.

3) (does not apply to all resellers) Because many resellers are selling fumos in an international market, they charge more money for their product. The amount of money they charge for the product is far above and beyond the costs of operating internationally in order to sell said product; long story short, they sell the fumos for that price because they can, since their buyers are baka gaijin piggu.

So what's the lesson to be learned here? Buy your fumos from gift or a proxy of gift! You're guaranteed not to get a bootleg, and you'll get it at the best price you'll ever see it at.

From the times I did get a fumo from amazon, I haven't had a bad experience. The big problem is the shipping which can last a couple of weeks due to no EMS, but if a fumo is there that is the equivalent price as something on buyee + service fees + shipping, and you are not worried about the long shipping, then amazon can be a decent alternative if the fumos are cheap enough. Suwako and Satori are $40 and Koishi is $50 on amazon right now.
