I had a dream that all the prosecutors from HERO were secretly ninjas, and there was a sub-plot point where Suetsugu had learned some secret one-of-a-kind martial arts move from a dojo that it turned out that everyone else at the office already knew, plus Ushimaru.

Shows on air I'm watching are Otona Joshi, Gisou no Fuufu, the Yamapi/Ishihara drama, and the Gakky drama.

I'm currently marathoning through all of the Shinya Shokudo seasons. Show is comfy and hits hard, since the setting is always after midnight, I don't think I can watch it during the day. Kinda ruins the experience tbh

Started watching Shomuni 2013 (Power Office Girls 2013) without having watched any of the originals. I wonder what people who watched the original 15 years prior think of the way it went.

Even though it seems like the kind of show with views that people here might complain about due to the sheer thickness of the social commentary, I had a lot of fun.

Currently watching a couple I've watched a long time ago for nostalgia. Densha Otoko is one of them. I recently finished Saba Doll and now currently watching Tatakau! Shoten Girl. I also recently finished Shitsuren Chocolatier and thought it was an alright drama. I'll probably end up watching Orange Days and Boku Dake No Madonna again.

I need to get on watching GTO. Not the classic one in 90's.

Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku is fun, my favourite of the season thus far.

Both Siren and Samurai Sensei are okay but a little slow right now, hopefully that gets better in future episodes.

5-9 Watashi ni Koi Shita Ikemen Sugiru Obousan is decent for a shoujo adaptation and there's a trap in it.

Tried the first episode of Seishun Tantei Haruya but that was bad.

Umi ni Furu and Kounodori look interesting but I haven't watched them yet.

Or you can always try to google search the exact file name of the movie/series. I did this in the past when I was a leech and I hadn't anymore the files on my HD. By founding at least a google mirror of one of the torrents I had downloaded I've been able to rebuilt my ratio by farming points.

I liked it as well.
Had some gripes about it though. The haircuts for the MC and the older brother were stupid. Also the last part about being fully absorbed into Kouya's persona and trying to make it have a deeper meaning was not convincing at all.

Don't really have a list, but if you want a "family" drama, watch Mother (2010) then try Kaisefu no Mita (2011). There's only one season each.

Every episodes except the last two was 8/10 for me. I don't think they were going for some deeper meanings behind Kouya's persona, it serves as an explanation for Yudai's shrewd personality. That guy clearly has PTSD and he uses that persona to keep doing what he promised Souta.
But i agree, the acting is abit overblown.

I haven't watched any of the older versions or anime but is Irie Naoki supposed to be autistic or something?

Everyone views him as some kind of womanizing genius but he just acts like a very high functioning autist.

It kind of seems like the script writers went out of the way to write as little dialogue for him as possible, like he's some JRPG protagonist that just responds with "..." every time. It's really fucking weird and kinda clashes with the whole tone.

i have some tolerance for bad acting and i dont really know all akb members.

but hell, season2 ending is bullshit.. and i dont see theres a need to have the yuko twins comeback for a plot.

season1 was decent.. will give it a go for season3.

surprisingly some of the akb members seems to have good combat stance n movement(as if they do have experience in martial arts) despite being instructed
