Anyone going this Sunday? Didn't spend that much money in Reitaisai last week.

yup

I just can't get into buying doujin music.

- Putting CDs into my computer to listen to is a huge pain.
- The cases are hard to store and break easily.
- I feel awful if I listen to someone's demo at their table and then decide not to buy the CD. Because I actually used to make doujin music and I know how shitty that feels.

I wish there was an easy way to donate to doujin music creators. I won't buy data downloads through third party sites because I despise the idea of paying money for pure data and I don't want to support that industry. And I don't want CDs for the reasons listed above. I'd be more than happy to donate though.

Do this once per album and you won't have to go through so much trouble with CDs.

I found a circle that will participate this M3. They give out a free download of their work and would be up to the customer if they want to spend money on the CD version or not.

I hope some circles are as cool as that.

Just spit it out. You just want to download their shit for free. Not everyone can go the Patreon route. And Patreon and other sites like that are middlemen anyway, so they'd be going through a third party regardless (whether it be payment or advertising their existence).

>>14262237
They only do that if they're okay with taking a complete loss on their work. You can't say the creator is a shitbag for wanting to break even on however many CDs he pressed, or the commission for the artist who drew the cover, or the costs of burning CDs, etc.

I'm under the impression most doujin groups do it for fun based from the various group I've talked to this past Comiket and Reitaisai. But yeah, I do understand they'd at least want to break even from the manual labor and other expenses.

Also, the group I've mentioned said that the money they'll receive is for preparation this coming winter Comiket.

Alright, just got back. My first M3 convention and it's a good thing it wasn't as packed as I thought.

I think most of these would be uploaded anyway. But if none of the albums I have aren't uploaded in a month or two, I'll up it.

Shit, did anyone buy [ふんわりちゃん] OoDm? I completely forgot to send in an order form to doujincore and the CD was limit to 20 copies

>> No.14270087

>>14268938
Forget about it. At 20 copies that won't even show up used anywhere. Only hope is there's still some remaining after the event so he can put it on Booth.
