Mima won't return.

She lived her life without anyone ever being there for here so after she died she felt that she had to get revenge on this cruel world and her spirit lingered in Gensokyo. She stumbled upon Marisa, a little innocent child that ran away from home. Seeing a bit of herself in this child, abandoned by this world, she decided to take Marisa under her wing and teach her magic. After raising Marisa, seeing her develop and finally having someone to truly love her Mima felt at peace and ready to move on to the next world.
