It's a Korean site out there that rates JAV actresses based on their face/appearance (외모), body shape (몸매), voice (목소리), sexiness (섹시), and performance/acting (연기력).

I don't know how they calculate it (if it's just one guy's taste or an average rating), but obviously it's going to be subjective, so take it with a grain of salt. While I disagree with some of the ratings, I have to say that it's pretty fair.

You can check it out yourself, but I took screens for some of my favorite actresses as well as some of the popular ones.

I'm not the Aoi shill, but looks like he's right, Aoi a best 8^)

Are you guys brain-dead? I posted the site so that you can look up your favorite actresses. The picture is merely an example of some of the actresses listed.

Obviously, the site might not have every actress, especially one-offs, but they do list some of them. That said, it is unusual to not have Momo listed anywhere, even under her JAV name. Maybe it's because she used to be a J-idol and Koreans wouldn't dare touch them, because muh kpop.

Well, either M$ would give people legal trouble for releasing it or they would just update their security, apparently the decryption is handled by an user-uniquely generated obfuscated DLL, so once someone releases a tool they can make it useless for newly generated DLLs with a single tweak or maybe even force everyone to download an updated one

The previous DRM worked on a similar principle, but you had the tool to extract the private key from the black box

The problem is that people who know stuff don't care about JAV, only amazon and netflix stuff

Does anyone know the screen capture program and how to encode to smaller files?

I have a fairly strong cpu and gpu that can most likely screen capture these videos nicely (i tried to dl one of my r18 videos that I bought a while back (only SD) and it didn't seem like there were any stuttering. Of course, I only watched it for about 15 minutes, looking all around the video for instances, but it seems fine).

My problem would be the screen capture program and how to NOT get 16gb files like in fraps or w.e.

If anyone were to locate/give me the means to screen capture, I would gladly screen cap things with my build ( i7 4790k, gtx 970 ) and share like I used to before the stupid drm change

It doesn't matter how large the initial screen cap is. Usually the bigger, the better, as you don't want to lose too much quality in the initial pass. You can shrink it as much as you like later on in the actual encoding pass, where you can go for a quality/size ratio as you see fit.

For paid-for (or rather one where you'd need to find patched copies of) I recommend DxTory, which I just now found out that it does pick up R Player. It's really great in that you can choose which codec you want to encode to, though I'd recommend doing what >>13989856 said to do as well, get a great maybe lossless screencapture and then encode it down using x264 or something. If I had the hardware (and money) this is what I'd use for releasing JAVs.

For free ones I recommend either FFsplit or OBS.

I never tried encoding as it generally looks hard to do well, so I don't know if encoding 16gb files down to 6gb is possible (that's how big the orignal wmv files are). Sometimes reaching 8-10, but 16 is way too much.

I may have 8tb of space, but most of it is only 4-5tb of jav, the important ones backed up on an external 1tb-2tb, and the rest on mega.co.

I'm just so sad r18 doesn't realize that I would be spending a lot more money on them like other websites if they didn't use such horrible drm policies. (dl.getchu stuff I buy quite a bit and share on /t/) or heydouga for uncensored things).

Of course, i don't know the whole picture and I"m almost 100% positive that they don't have a choice on this matter and are forced to use it, regardless if they agree on it or not.

But according to the bloggers who occasionally pops up on akiba-online, he really shills hard in favor of DRM.

Also, question about dxtory or any other of the free programs, does it make the r player vids stuttery? Or do I need a good screen capping program and THEN use dxtory etc?

While I know the i7 4790k isn't exactly the strongest thing out there, i'd say it's fairly strong even at stock. Do you think I could handle it.

I'd say if you're able to save up the money, do that and build another PC and a capture card (internal PCI not external USB or something). Use the new PC to play the videos and feed the video into your current one using the capture card.

It'd probably be the best method at this point in time.

Are you personally familiar with and can recommend any parts?

What kind of quality loss (if any) is there from using a capture card on content streaming from the web? Does it take the output from your screen directly, or the cache that is being built as you stream, is it pixel perfect, if your internet is shit or their server fucks up or something and you get buffering or stutter in the end product, how unacceptable would you guys find that?
