Nekopara fails at that though. There are not enough scenes of cat girl stuff to justify its price at all. Moreover if other users are uninterested in the sex stuff then half of the VN goes down the drain and they have even LESS material.

The point is that it is not that I don't accept people have different tastes, it is just that Nekopara offers very little when compared to other VNs, especially to non ero ones because the only things Nekopara is good at is in its few ero scenes and art.

I hate games with a chapters approach. When I buy something, I'd prefer it to have a conclusive ending and be longer than 30 minutes. If your game isn't finished yet, then better work harder instead of just releasing the beginning and then making me wait for another three years or four, asshats.

That is a great single player game for exploration, MMO-like quests and combat.
The story is nicely integrated into the gameplay in a way, too.
But the story itself is lame overall (Not nearly enough xeno-esque religeous undertones or real mecha involvement), and characters are quite cliché while being very loud about it.
Xenoblade X looks to be a drastic improvement in many ways.

Though I'm really not sure how in the world you jumped from VNs to such a game, honestly.

Xenoblade is just that good. Anyway, the enemies for the majority of the game were mecha, I'm pretty sure that's still mecha involvement even though you don't get to pilot any. I also didn't find the characters particularly obnoxious. What matters to me is quality more than originality. Of course, the majority of the game is certainly a very original thing in what it accomplishes. So yeah, everything has its flaws, but everyone should play Xenoblade. And most people with computers can use Dolphin just fine so they can really just emulate it and go for it. It's all right there.
