This is my fav dorama, I don't know why. I can't describe it. It just feels... cozy.

jdramas in general pander to females.

Either the show is filled with ikemen or it's about a woman in her 30s. Even really good dramas like IGWP can be grouped into the former. I'm a guy and I like watching romcom so whatever floats your boat really.

I also like watching cooking dramas, currently watching Tenno no Ryoriban.

I guess densha otoko has males as their target group - but who has not seen that yet.
Other than that its actually really hard to name a dorama targeted towards men. None that I've seen.

But hey, stuff like "mother" is pretty cute. "Orange days" is also one of my favourites.

I'm always a bit disappointed with dramas that are too much like western tv, like I've lived with that shit all my life I want to see something different, so I like drama with lots of traditional Japanese houses and things that are like... quintessential Japan.
Like Ando Natsu which revolves around a wagashi store which was posted before but for some reason is gone.

I posted Suika before, where the heck is it? Anyway I loved it and I want more of it. It's silly and I like silly things. Perfect setting. It was everything I want in a drama and I haven't found anything I like nearly as much since.
