Well, if you think about it, there are two kinds of fictional characters that we like - those whose flaws we can empathise with, and those whose strengths we admire. In other words, those with traits we embody and those with traits we'd like to embody.

Ultimately, you have to ask yourself what draws you to a certain character, because different people like the same characters for different reasons.

I find comoj a fun and somewhat accurate personality test because of the huge number of 2hus.

Though in the end we all still have shit taste.

I am extremely apologetic when I do something wrong, just like Chen who doesn't want to upset her Ran-shama, I love being around cats to no end, I like to play playful pranks on people and mischievous is the first thing, but the other is friend. I am extremely honest and I always speak my mind. I love my family more than my life and would sacrifice myself just like Chen would for Ran(even tho I don't listen to my Ran-shmama very often) or Yukari. I like to be carefree and I sleep way too much (but I work).
Blue and green have been my favorite colors since I was a kid. I am often not a very bright person but I have my moments, and I love to surprise. I don't like when there's many people around me as often I get too distracted over them, for example at work I'm more likely to make mistakes when working with someone, instead of just being by myself. There are also many other similarities that I don't really want to speak about.

Most of these analyses are much like horoscopes, written in a way where most people can think they've felt like the description at some time and vague enough to ring a bell as long as it's close enough. It's better to put your touhous into groups than just using a top ten list. Five groups is the ideal, with each group significanly higher than the one before. The best 4 is nowhere near the worst 5, and so on.

There aren't many changes I'd make to this, so it's ok to post as is. I may make an updated version at some point. Genji is not a 1/5 touhou, for example.

Characters have value because of their rank. They don't lose value by being ranked.
You either like something, don't like it, or don't care. At most, you can really like or really dislike. More than that is stupid. Even people who use ten point scales still speak in ranges, which proves its uselessness. Five is ideal since it provides the greatest significance in difference.
