The difference is that rika nipahs are drawn very fast, whereas bkub spends a lot of time finishing his works.

I mean, if I or anyone with no skills at all tried to draw rika nipahs in mspaint, they would look horrible. Even the rika nipah guy is a pretty good artist in the sense that he has a good understanding of shape. He can draw very simple stuff while keeping the overall characters recognizable. It's a very personal style despite being so crude.

Exaggerating certain features like on caricatures helps, but both of them take that to extremes with facial features, leading to ridiculous and just plain bad styles. They're not caricaturing the characters' features, they're caricaturing the generic anime art style. I mean look at those ridiculously sharp フ-shaped cheeks on OP. Or those huge eyes which clearly don't even fit their orbita, judging from the curvature of upper eyelashes. And the shape and size of facial features being all over the place.

I thought the first handful of Chen vids this guy made were kind of amusing, but everything after that has been seriously garbage. I'm somewhat concerned that there are people out there still find Zelda-CDi references, spliced tf2 voice clips and "GUILES THEM GOES WITH EVERYTHING" funny.

So guys, I bought Vol 1, 2, and 7, and there are some works in 1 and 2 which did not seemed to get scanned online.

The problem is, my scanner will not let me scan the pages without damaging the book.

How should I go about getting it scanned?

Your camera looks good, if you put a proper light and take a picture while having the book open at 90° you should be able to get a decent scan without breaking the thing apart.

Vol 2 is still unwrapped, but it appears to be the same width, so I would bet on it. I am judging this all on the Danbooru repositories, by the way.

Vol 7's comics are all scanned.

First off, I know these are shit quality. I have shaky hands, so it took me a dozen times on each page to take a picture as well as they are.

I will try to scan them in the future, when I get back to university, but the quality will still be uncertain.

Images are left unaltered, for the sake of someone else being able to do so. Text will be transcribed.
