He'd likely have trouble trying to fight a youkai up close since they all fly and fling magic, although I bet he could graze like a motherfucker. He'd have better luck researching their traditional weaknesses and lore, and take advantage of that. A language barrier and cat eyes will likely make him unwelcome in the human village though, plus he's not a cute girl, so it would be tough to collect that info.

If he avoids dying to the first few youkai he encounters long enough to learn some Japanese, he would have a chance.

From the number of possible spellcards i woud give him place on5-6 stage, but he is not as op as reimu (however Geralt as well as Reimu is a shaman of similar religion - native faith of Slavs are bizzarley similar to Shinto). For me Geralt reessembles Youki / Yomu the most.
