Come to 5-5, it's fun when Re always targets the only shouha in your fleet or all enemies on first two nodes target the CVL so that sink protection won't help with initial torpedo on preboss.

Fucking sparkling. When will there be a way to do it that doesn't take hours?

2 kills in the first two attempts with 3BB3SS and sparkling subs.
15 failures in a row without sparkling, including 8 with carriers.
3 kills in a row with sparkled subs and fully sparkled route support.

On the support fleets, with uselessly small sample sizes:
Fully sparkled radar: 3 hits (damaged to yellow or more) on average over 6 runs
Flag only radar: 2.25 hits over 4 runs
Flag only max firepower: 2.07 hits over 14 runs
In E6 with flag only max fp, it was 1.86 on the boss in 7 fights, and 2.15 in 13 route supports.
Fully sparkled max firepower wasn't tested. Whenever the flag's sparkles were about to run out and nobody else had them, everyone missed everything regardless of equipment.

Yeah, but think about it. Sure, those who script have been shown to not be able to get ranking rewards. But if you look at it another way, it also means you don't actually get banned for scripting. You just can't get any ranking rewards. In other words, you don't need to worry about shit like randomness when setting your script. You can now script with maximum efficiency.

And what scripters do from now on, is to divert their resources to something else instead, like farming for Mikuma guns/KitaOoi quint torps and the like. Or better still, spam minimum LSC for Maruyu. The prospect of bringing all your girls to max luck would be great. It would more than make up for not being able to get any ranking rewards.

And what's more, scripting would become even more attractive to casuals who don't even bother to rank in the first place, since the punishment for scripting doesn't even affect them at all. It's not like they need to worry about being banned for scripting or anything.

Scripting may not have heavy consequences for the scripters, but it matters for people who actually try to rank by playing the game. Since, like you said, scripters will switch to doing other things instead, there's a good chance it will deter scripters from trying to rank even if they aren't guaranteed to be caught. b.Kako: received a refit at June 1942 but that's about it.
c. Aoba: received various refits at June of different years, but the most significant was at 1945 were she became an AA battery, similar to Myoukou, Haruna, and Takao.

So unless the devs drop some hints next month there are just what we have.

This, as far as I'm aware. Speeding up the game is pretty noticeable, as you'll be finishing sorties in far less time than it should be possible. Getting banned for it is not as common as when using tools like KCT or using a script to spam 5-4 and get into the top 10, but I've seen reports of people getting banned for it.
