I hate my job. I hate everything that I do and I hate myself for thinking that choosing this path would lead to great rewards. I would kill myself if I was guaranteed to reincarnate.

I'm 25 and many people would kill to be in my position but I wouldn't wish this government-run hell on my worst enemy. I want my NEET days back. If I did I'd learn the skills I wanted to learn instead of what I figured I should learn.

you can't make a thread strictly about your NEET situation just because it's controversially part of /jp/ culture. I know /r9k/ is a shithole but it's not hard to learn how easy it is to get banned from /jp/.

Cause being a successful worker nets you a woman and a family, which can be nice and some people dream of. Also I don't think most people here are neets, since the neet life is hard to maintain given monetary constraints, which is another answer to your question.

I don't know about that, it's just you can forget about it all when spending hours posting on your cantonese fingerpainting site, or playing a game you like, or watching your favorite or new shows, etc etc.
Being neet means you have no stable source of money which means no woman will every love you and your family will always see you as a failure. Which is painful.

I had so much fun when I was NEET

I really wish I could be one again, but it's not possible, unless you live in a welfare state. It's not just about money. being unemployed with no practical hobbies past a certain age (25) makes your family hate you.

NEET life really is amazing... this one time I was really bored and played an entire D&D campaign by myself. There are so many games to play, VNs to read, movies to watch. You never run out of things to do. I went to bed every day with a huge smile on my face, looking forward to the next day. That's something I haven't been able to do since I started working.

I experienced the same thing

Fell into a great job because my boss happened to like me. It had a bit of status, was easy-going, I got to screw around on the internet a lot, and although the pay wasn't great yet I would have gotten a big raise very soon.

But I still managed to feel like shit. It was a very social job and it turned out to be too much. I was having "anxiety attacks" or something, the mental stress was killing me. Eventually I was fired because some normies had it out for me and here I am as a NEET again.

That was the closest I've ever been to living a normal life. Now I understand that no matter what you do normies are born not made.

Why do 90% of normalfags give this as their answer on the rare occasions that I work up some motivation and try to get out of NEETdom? The other 10% can keep looking down on me and hating me all they want, but the fact that the majority of people say shit like 'I just got lucky.' or 'I was just in the right place at the right time.' or my favorite 'I knew a guy.' is fucking infuriating to me because it's like they're openly admitting 'I did nothing to earn this, just like you do nothing to earn your livelihood, but I'm still gonna look at you like you're trash.'
