When I was teaching high school, one of my Asian student had burn scars like this. She was shy and quiet. She didn't speak much english and was failing most classes except math. I spoke her native language so we spoke to each other often. She was living here in US with her aunt. Her aunt became abusive and she ended up going back to her country few months later.

But she was not cute. 5/10, or 6/10. Sometimes I wonder if I should have taken her in or something. I might be alone now lmao

Really depends on her actions. I'll treat her with indifference like I do with most people. If we start becoming closer acquaintances or friends then you focus on them like normal. Relationship would kind of be weird because you'd get stares and talking behind your back which everyone would say they would ignore but it's actually harder than that.

If she goes around without covers or the eyepatch and doesn't let it affect her then good for her. She has enough pride and strength in herself to do that so that's a big plus in my book so I'd give her more respect naturally for that. If she just whines and moans the whole time, then I probably wouldn't respect her as much. If she whines and moans while having the eyepatch and covers, the it would be a walking on eggshells thing. If I care enough, I'll try to boost her confidence a bit. If I don't care enough, I do nothing like everyone else.
