So what's the general etiquette of trading? I generally send almost all of my witches. This event so far I've sent over a hundred full or almost full HP FAW to my alliance and my traders. The thing is I didn't plan on ranking so my sword stock is very low.. Is it selfish or rude if I stop sending so much? I'm still going to send of course so my traders don't abandon me however I won't be able to keep my position in the top 300 if I keep this up. What do

I was close to doing that too. I really loved Odysseus' art and spent most of the event trying to get at least one. Gloriana dropped randomly when I was doing her route. When the event ended and I noticed how people were complaining that Odyseuss had a really high drop rate while Gloriana's was really low, I was pissed. Ended up throwing her into the collection and ignoring her though.

I did pretty much nothing during the few last days of the previous event (really nothing, killing maybe 3 or 4 FAWs) and still ended up around 2300. Now I only did 3 WGs and I'm 1070th.

Yeah it's a bit odd but in her favor I get 40,000 points a lot of fights and even ones I screw up badly get me 32-35,000 which is what I'd get without her anyway.

Also, though it's an odd thing to praise she dies a lot and quickly making my team work again. The number of times she's taken procs from Redeye is low.

I wouldn't waste any swords/shoes if I were in your position (I wish I knew this before I ranked) so you can save them up for when you actually want to. Swords are obviously the most valuable in terms of ranking, but shoes can come in handy if you need to self feed in the last couple of days if your sends start to run dry and they're great for wgs.

If you don't have a FAW team yet I'd suggest just grinding for AWs to make Jeans. Three Single Target Unleashers, a Self Buff/Team Buff, and a Null(or Chronos if no Null) are quite effective.

As High SC as possible. the GUR Single Target Unleashers and GUR AOEs are great for this.

Nullifiers are fairly useless since they don't have a chance to protect your team from the opponents first turn.

Basically as many soilders as possible, pump up all of their defense. A full GUR team is ideal even if they aren't all AoE. I heard you could use red eye/jean GURs & attack down cards to stall people in AuB but I'm not sure how it works. I'm using 3 GUR Drum Majors and 2 GUR Victorias

Its easy to get multiple GURs it just takes time. Every event UR can be GUR so far so get one HUR and in five events you can have 5 GURs. Course getting stones and awakening is a pain but is 100% possible once you have the HUR. You should still have as many soilders as you can so for someone new HSR/UR/HUR team is best

New rarity GUR/GSR
GUR has 39999 max stats and over 20k SC, GSR have 24999k max stats and bit higher SC than HSR.

FAWs cost BP, ranking is now.. easier since you dont spend whole day waiting for sends. Compared to free FAW ranking now you need to spend less time and there is bit of "rotation" when you keep out of ranking for 1-3 events to get swords. Oh and FAW RRs cant be made into GURs. UAB RRs can be GURed.

You get materials to GUR/GSR cards in witch gates which are vitality sink. So "end game" players just farm WGs and use spare BP to kill sends from new players. Works quite well.

Every FAW is UR that can be made GUR
Often you get special amalga URs
You can make amazing FAWK just with free cards

Hi, new player here with a few questions if it's alright:

1. About maxing stats with arcana, does it matter on which stage of the evolution/amalgamation I use them? Do they get carried over like friendship rating or should I wait for the final stage before using the arcana?

2. I found an SR (headmaster) with 15% chance crit on 2 procs, but only have a single copy. I also have the current junior director AW with the 300% atk buff, and I should get a 2nd copy soon. Pastebin says both of those skills are "good". Which one is better to max stats on and how important is the fact that I can evolve one but not the other?

3. Do different "Deck cost limit" upgrades from the shop stack? So can I buy e.g. +10 and +30 to get +40, or does the "can only be used once" apply to all of them at once, meaning only one of them can be active?

I wouldn't bother maxing cards until you have a set team that you know you want to go with. With the current meta I think it would be better to use Junior Director, since you can use the current FAW to proc her.
Maxing should always be done at the final stage of evolution/amalgation. The only exception is when you are awakening cards, here the stats carry over 100%.
You can only buy as many deck cost limit upgrades as you can use, so don't worry about it.

1. Only 15% of extra att/def carries over. IMO dont bother with maxing att untill you get HUR that can be GURed and you will use it as main tap damager. Its smart to max HSR unleashers/buffers def tho.

2. Keep the 300% att buffer, try to farm few Jean you can force multiple 300% on it whith using Jean. This way you can get to 999k tap damage which is equal to buffed criter. In short current meta is buffer + 3 unleashers + 4th unleasher or enemy skill canceler like choco. Even if you get canceled you can still rebuff due to crazy proc ammount of unleashers.

3. They stack. Its permanent buff to unit cost limit.

Thanks for the tips, I will save them for HURs then. If I should assemble the team I want to go for first before maxing anything, how relevant is it to keep their levels low? I know that maxing on level 1 is a lot less expensive than on high levels. Should I worry about that, or is it still affordable enough that it doesn't really matter?

If I do get a Jean, is she worth maxing as a first card so that I have at least one strong hitter for now, or am I going to regret that? Her skill sounds generally useful for pretty much any team.

Jean is a good card, she is a copy of Redeye which most people use 3 or 4 of in their FAWK teams.
The costs for upgrading a lvl 1 card is slightly lower than the cost for upgrading a max level card, but it's about 2k gold per upgrade for max level cards I think, so I really wouldn't worry about it.
About what >>13509247 said, I wouldn't max a HSR, I would even be skeptical about maxing a GSR, since GURs are so easy to come by. Just wait until you have a good G/HUR like Jean and max her.

Well for now your plan should look like that
1. Get team capable of killing AWs
2. Get enough active rankers/killers in friendlist so they can kill your FAWs.
3. Build up resoruce buildings.
4. Acumulate medals/tickets/arcanas and so on.
5. Get MS to level 6 then Yddgradlis x3 and then MS to lv 8. MS encounter rate up helps with vitality/bp ratio.

But yeah Jean will be very usefull its try to get as many copies as you can. She is usefull even as UR , you can preety much run 300% self buffer and UR jean in one team to kill AW fast. Later on you can HUR them when you have unit cost and resources.

For now you should get into "I can reiably kill lv 200 AW" state.

As for maxing Jean would be good with any 200% AOE buffer so you can use one HUR Jean as main hitter.

GUR isn't that easy to get. Maxing HUR is totally a decent idea, and maxing a good HSR attacker that can become GSR is totally fine. It's not optimal, but it's a HUGE step in being able to handle AWs, the campaign, and all that. It's a stepping stone.

Also: If you're just beginning and don't feel like investing a lot but wanna try occasionally acing an Archwitch? Get two Military Band cards and stick 'em with a maxed HSR/GSR critter/self buffer, and you can do just fine. It's not at all good, but it's a stepping stone team. Once you start acing archwitches, you'll eventually start to find team buffers in your archwitch reward boxes -- then you can start replacing military band and turn skippers and healers.

Also also: Early on, turn skippers are really versatile as are unleashers. Look for any decent attacker type and unleasher Fantasy Archwitches and farm the SHIT out of them. Post here if you need a killer. We don't mind helping out.

Whew. Finally got my second Jean drop today after about 210 kills. In my experience, UR FAWs have abysmal drop rate for the first 200 kills, then they start dropping like normal. Anyone else have that experience as well?

I really think it would be a waste to max some random shitty HSR that can't even be GSR'd. I would say that he could do it if you could make her a GSR, but a HSR is just so outdated. Even I regret putting medals into my Pirates Gun, which was one of the first HSRs I got. I swapped her out really quickly for better cards and havn't touched her since.
Honestly it's just a big waste of medals and if you are not planning on having the game open all day, killing sends and spending your BP/vit in a good way, you wont get a crazy amount of medals any time soon. If I could go back in time and stop myself from spending medals on the shitty HSR I really would, it's just not worth it.
Also, while we are at it, I could easily without spending any medals kill AWs and sometimes I were even able to kill FAWs with my full HSR/SR team. So it's not like you will be gaining anything, you are just losing medals.

Really? I don't remember those days. The first HSR I got was Jingle bell and Nicola after her was Alp and Amaterasu. If I hadn't maxed Nicola I had no way to kill even AWs on my own unless I got real lucky with Ammy's proc.

Do you have group buffers? Because then it doesn't matter what you have but it took me 7 months to get my first group buffer other than Parvati (who's cute but useless). So unless you have group buffers the only thing you can do is rely on a maxed card of some quality and turn skippers and pray.

I stand by my statement but I guess it really depends on whether or not you're lucky.

You can't promise to anyone that they'll get team buffers. Ever. Without them you need to max someone and pissed or not later a maxed HSR will help you get the HURs and GURs you want. Team buffers are game breaking and like it or not the game revolves around them. Goddamn a team full of team buffers with nothing else at all and no stats whatsoever will wreck anything and therefore nobody should ever need to max a card ever. Just field team buffers and unleashers and screw stats.

But if you can't promise a newbie they'll get a team buffer they need SOMETHING to kill AWs and that means maxing out whatever cards that come along and are useful.

When I first started out, it was Victoria's event (never got a drop of her, then again I didn't exactly kill her much). Ran around with 3 HSR Evas and a couple critters/debuffers as that was all I had. Usually each BP got me ~400k damage on an AW.

Then came Super Iroha and I learnt how unleashers work. I gave Furinkazan and Seagull +5000 def each (nowhere near max) and almost-maxed Super Iroha. That got me reliably killing AWs.

Was tired of seeing the lack of procs so I maxed Monkey to be less reliant on them. I knew Red Eye was the holy grail of unleashing but I wasn't going to get her. FAWs would occasionally go down now. Then Jean shows up.

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEANNNN... her procs, they do not stop... One UR Jean is making my un-optimised Monkey team into a FAW bulldozer. Kinda scared what happens when there's 3~4.

Jean is a red eye clone, and you have collapse which is a better Huang Long. Monkey is meh. All you need now is to pray for a chocolatier clone and you are golden. I don't get the big deal of a single skill unleash though. You can't even choose what party member it goes on so I don't see the point. redeye is good because it won't hit itself or autoskills, it makes things proc more than the limit. for instance a buffer can only buff once but with redeye you can buff it potentially 4x

choco is amazing for FAW killing because it's a safeguard against wave or field. you are thinking about it backwards, if it blocks a single AoE then it just saved you 1bp.

Unleashers are guaranteed to NOT target each other. So if you have 4 unleashers and 1 unit who matters, you are guaranteed to get so many procs on her (beyond her natural limit).

Post your ID and people will add you. I know a lot of people are ranking this event so you could at least get some traders. /jp/ horizon will probably take you if you need an alliance. Its pretty easy to get a bunch of Jeans, 1 from hearts, 1 from top 3000, and amalgamate the rest. AW drop rates have been pretty good for me so far. As everyone else is saying you really want to get as many Jeans as possible

My FAW team is full GUR and it has only 1 arcana each in them: arcana succession. GURs are so broken they don't even need arcanas. A max level GUR can tank 2 to 3 FAW AOE. Putting arcana into them is way overkill. In my opinion, it is best to put those arcana into your early HSR, the stronger you are at the start, the quicker and easier you are able to get the GURs you need.

My current team is Dainsleif, Chocolatier, Huang Long and 2x Red Eye. I have another Red Eye, but even using two of them is pushing it for me. Luckily I can replace one for Jean soon for deck variety. I'm thinking about running some different teams though, because I wanna be special like that:
- Kiyohime, Barista, Dark Sisters (or Prometheus, but she isn't dark :c), Red Eye, Cpt. Bianca. It's way less good, but all dark!
- Chocolatier, Jean, Red Eye, Monkey, Huang Long. All procs go to Huang Long, and Monkey self buffs automatically anyway. Plus variety!

So, how bad would you judge my chances of getting Joker if I'm nowhere near 11-1 yet and the other AWs are already on a level where I can hardly kill them? I know there's a chance to get her from slots, but the slots only seem to spawn when I kill the witches myself rather than calling reinforcements, and they're growing way too strong for that now. It also seems like people who are already at area 11 have no problems killing normal AWs, so noone's asking for reinforcements on her either.

Should I give up or is there some other way that I missed? Are the cute ones always the most difficult to obtain?

First off, killing AWs is not considered difficult once you get a little further in to the game. This is probably the easiest cards to get in a while for most people, for new people on the other hand these are obviously a lot harder.
I see 2 things you can do. Either you push for 11-1 if you are close enough that you can get there. Or you put an AW on hold and unless I'm mistaken, winning normal battles should also spawn slot machines. If you let the AW timer run out she should also go down in level which would make you able to kill her again.

Since I had some free time, I decided to see how my old account (I am Vangui) was doing after I gave it to someone two months ago. So I installed Bluestacks (it works a lot better now)

He didn't bother to level up at all. Maybe he is still playing but not leveling the kingdom, but looking at the amount of comrades he has now, I doubt it.

In AUB, does losing the attack fuck it up for my alliance? Are there negative points for that, or can I just go and attack the ones which don't have a chance in the ranking and get my individual points?

There's no penalty for losing. Even if you can't win any battles it's still better to lose for 100 points than to not participate at all.

With crit or with tap? With tap it's a little more than 25k, just enough to 2 shot an FAW servant. Crit is somewhere between 300k and 400k. This is all without buffs, on a neutral element.

A single team buff (200% ATK up) pushes it to just under 100k tap damage, and 1 million on a crit.

How would you deal with AW fields which delete buffs/debuffs? I remember when I had a heal/debuff team as I had no buffers. It really came down to praying the field didn't proc. Even under perfect conditions, you'd still take so long on a FAW you'd likely miss other sends.

They're even worse now since it used to be the case that AWs and FAWs didn't use field when they were debuffed -- only when you were buffed. Now? They'll field to clear their own debuffs. It's pretty unfortunate, but it basically killed all debuff decks.

You can pretty much build good unit as free player , the meta 3x Jean/Redeye 1x Choco 1x Huang Long / Other buffer is made out of cards that were free
Overall if you put some time and brains into it there is no need to spend cash, premium sumons have bit better skills but free cards are good enough to make even ranker unit

You can rank as free player (not that ranking rewards matter any more)

Instead of grinding for +5 sword of ass whoping you grind for cute girls, what`s not to like ?

the stats you gain are traded for the xp loss.
no matter what you have to use a fuckton of arcana to max them. arcana = cards = levels. awakening first saves on levels and thus cards.
