When you kill a god, do their inner gods automatically become aggressive? If they kill you/you leave the area and return are they still aggressive? I want to kill Deus ex Manina, and I'm thinking of using a billion flying scrolls to be able to wield frisia's tail. I'll just astral light pen the tail.

I am a fairy, this will take a lot of scrolls.

I spent most of my time on the first character suicide rushing the puppy cave, trying to haul some items out (and usually dying horribly to things like hungry ghosts and kobolds) instead.

Actually not sure what I should be doing. In general, broke and out of food. Still not familiar with the rules of death, it seems that you drop some items, but I can't tell if its all of them or not.

Yes, every little bit that helps you potentially get herb seeds helps. Why do you feel like you're stagnating anon? You shouldn't be adventuring around with more than 2 pets anyways. Pet casting power is mainly tied to it's casting ability unlike the player which uses a formula based on spell levels. The formula for pet casting power is

Casting * 6 + 10

So just make sure he's leveling up his casting skill.

You will probably use herb in on your herbs until your rare herb supply of morgia, spenseweed, etc runs out. Once you can't herb in anymore then it's up to you what you want to do with your more common herbs. Eat them or store them away.

>I remember one anon said his 500 stat little girl could beat a god but only because she had a special action that let her survive more than one hit. I guess I'm not that far off, though I don't think I can get/maintain that special action.

Probably talking about me. The biggest reason she can do it is because of Attribute (the martial arts skill) with nether-aspect so that she heals massive amounts per turn. Super Armor is the skill that chops damage to a max of 20% of max health, but she doesn't keep it up enough for it to be reliable. Some things go through it as well, so unfortunately it's not the end-all be-all of tanking abilities.

My role in the fights is specifically to keep the gods from building 100% gauge. I use magic reaction to damage myself in order to build my own gauge, then use the disturbance special action to lower theirs. The only god that gives her trouble anymore is Opatos, since he can sometimes get an absolute piercing attack which can 1-shot her.

She can't take on any of the inner gods though. She simply doesn't have the health to deal with them yet. I'm hoping that in another 100-150 hours she'll be able to, but we'll see.

This is unrelated but I observed that for skill training to train "fast", specifically skills that needed a target for it to increase (like Tactics, Firearms etc.) , needs the target to be at like 2x your own level or slightly higher.

I tested this some time ago by comparing skill increase in skill grinding inside low level dungeons vs. high level dungeons. High level dungeons train skill noticeably faster than grinding at low level dungeons even at 400% potential which took some time for it to even raise by 0.001% per skill application.

Could someone please verify this? I'm not satisfied at my "2x my own level" guessing. I'd like to train my skills efficiently at the lowest dungeon level possible.

I actually killed the inner gods at much lower stats. the main thing is speed, good resistance, and good PV. a high level Slow also helps.

>astral light pens
I sandbagged a few instead. because of the god recruiting penalty, they're not that great as pets.

Lulwy is probably easiest with high PV, since she wastes a lot of time/limit breaks summoning crappy Rudras. Jure is the hardest (if you try this at low levels) because on low health she'll healspam. In general limit breaks are bad news. Yacatect's ability boosts her stats to insane levels. Kumiromi's will make you insane for a VERY long time. Opartos's is basically instant death at melee range.

>> No.13451745

>>13451518
364PV, 24706 HP.

With the strat I use:

Ehekatl = Kumiromi < Jure < Mani < Yacatect < Itzpalt < Lulwy < Opatos

Ehekatl and Kumiromi are simply pushovers. Jure is similar but with insane healing; it's just an endurance fight. She runs out of mana eventually. Mani has more damage output but is content to stay in melee, so he's fairly simple. Ehekatl runs around and uses that multi-hit gauge move a lot. It sucks. But she doesn't do much damage. Itzpalt runs around and uses spells. With good resistances, he's not too bad to deal with. Don't fight him in the rain. Lulwy runs around, shoots with her bow, and uses eye of insanity. Occasionally speed boosts herself. As long as you can keep up with her, still not bad. Opatos just fights in melee. Does higher damage than the other gods, and can occasionally get the absolute piercing attack.

Note that because my pet is fighting I get to dodge a lot of stuff that might make it harder to do yourself. Mani can silence, for example, and the insanity from Lulwy I would imagine would make her more difficult to fight yourself (particularly for a caster).

Pet hits for ~10k normal hits with another 10k attribute damage. Has fairly good absolute piercing chance as well as double attack. She also has the saber tonfa, so gets the proximity assist proc or whatever it is sometimes.

Once you have gold you can start investing in magic vendors that will sell you potions of potentials to solve your stat potential problems. Along the way start constructing a set of gear that provides you resists to various elemental damage and other bad things. But by the time you get 200k-ish from dungeon bosses you forget about it because it only makes money and you will eventually have more dosh than what you can spend on useful stuff.

But you will eventually do party time quests for the tickets, you will have farms for the herbs, you will fish, have anatomy and cook because everyone needs to eat. You will eventually dive in dungeons because there are neat stuff inside and you will want AP.

Assuming that I'm reading this correctly:

Holding a monster heart increases the effective power of dominate by 1.5x

Then, if a random number between 0 and (spellpower/15 + 5)-1 is < the enemy's level, the spell fails.

Spellpower is SpellLevel * 10 + 50, capable of being boosted up to 3x by gear + the magic equip spact. This means that without the monster heart, the maximum level enemy that could be dominated is 4014 (60150/15 + 5)-1 at level 2000. With the monster heart, the maximum should be 6019 at level 2000. In other words, if I'm reading this correctly, you won't be able to capture a level 6666 spirit regardless of what you do.

Also note that the success rate would be (MaxLevel - EnemyLevel + 1) in (MaxLevel). Capturing a level 6019 enemy would have a 1 in 6019 chance of success.

Strange seeds have a 1% chance for a potion of cure corruption and a 2% chance for an artifact (the artifact will override the potion). Otherwise they just generate an item from a random category. Only vegetable and fruit seeds seem to benefit directly from Gardening, gaining a plus value of:

Normal Plus Value + (a random number between (Gardening + 1)/12 + 2 , with a cap of 10).
Also an additional 5 to Plus Value if it had fertilizer used on it.

HOWEVER, there is a variable set that is based on (Gardening+1)/2 + 15, which is used in the item creation function. It also sets another value to a static value of 2. That value I know is the quality level (good, great, etc.) of equipment, though I don't know how it affects other items. The artifact seeds overwrite that value to 4 (miracle), as you'd expect.

Unfortunately, the item creation function is simply far too long for me to fully go through. If I had to guess based on the information I had, I would say that at the very least it has an effect on equipment from artifact seeds (in regards to material quality and perhaps enchantments).

My second character is my strongest.

Started playing in Elona 1.16 and played as a Juere Pianist. Got to lv 63 but never did end up beating Zeome. Made a lot of mistakes with my first character but learned a lot as well.

Second character, my current, is an Eulderna Gunner and by the time he was lv 50 he had twice the stats of my first character at lv 63. My current character just recently fell Siva and Yerleswood. Haven't beaten South Tyris yet.

I've been busy working on my pet and my character's speed. I should be achieving my goal of 2000 very soon and after I blow my pet's AP on speed boosts I'll be working on getting her speed up as well with blessed Hermes potions. Speak of pets, my first character only got his Golden Knight up to lv 33. My current character's pet, the little girl turned Valkyrie, is lv 158 and can now tank and kill some of the bosses in the dungeons I go to.

I find it amusing that this time around it's my character that needs to catch up to her level instead of the other way around. I'm not actively leveling my pet at the moment though since I'm trying to focus on building out her stats to where they should be.

I started with vanilla 1.16 just like "I have 18 herb farms" Kai above this thread.
It was a Juere thief. It eventually crumbled away under the weight of my noobyness.
My second was a Fairy Pianist, still in Valina who got quite far by vanilla standards.
After a long break I made a Fairy wizard in Elo+ 1.34 or something. He commanded a small army, I beat Zeome and wanted to try something else.
Then I made a Golem gunner with a sniper riffle who turned thief for the stealth+crit bonus. He now had less pets. It's in the middle of diving lower and lower in the void. But I wanted to try a solo kokou wizzhard, so I started yet another one, She still has 1 pet. I try not to rely on it much but you need a pet for breakfast, ensemble and various stuff. The pet is a fire@dragon for the fire resist I planned to Meteor-cheese it as much as I can. I'm around lvl 60, the dragon overtook me by 5 levels already and I can do lvl max 150 dungeons. Still grinding medals for the void.

My problem is that I can grind for weeks and completely ignore the main quest, then one moment It clicks, and I rush the storyline which is a pushover because I'm over leveled.

For me it's just sentimental value. I chose to raise her first because she's the first one I got and seemed extremely relieved to have found me when I stepped into Vernis. A pretty loyal pet considering she could of just left my character.

That aside, one nice perk about the little girl which can turn into a Valkyrie is the cheer ability which grants everyone in the party the buffs of Hero, Speed, and Contingency. Second, since she's a starter pet/weak pet she gains AP very quickly compared to other pets which are stronger when you first get them.

As for pets, I have all the god pets and I do intend to train another pet after I'm assured my pet little girl can take care of herself. I'm only training one pet at the moment and that's working out pretty well for me so far.

For speed, my character really wasn't that efficient, he didn't rush AP but instead went straight to consuming blessed Hermes Potions, raw shoes, and random speed uppers he found. For my pet I'm not going to make the same mistake and will use AP to raise her speed first then dump my collection of blessed Hermes potions, raw shoes, and speed uppers on her.

Ok so, it was my first character, I believe a Juere gunner with a few pets. He was my first character so of course he's weak as shit and so are his pets.
So I'm about 300 hours into the game, not nearly as strong as I should be by this point but whatever, learning experience. So I'm going through the rounds of worshiping each god then moving on to get all their rewards. I tackle Jure, Kumi, etc. I'm on to my second last or so god, Mani, and I just got his second reward "Mani's gemstone of heavenly gem" or whatever. That's what it's called when it's unidentified anyway.
Now I had just gotten nice and set up. Just got my second farm (practically unused since shit character), museum hit rank 1, small castle, and most importantly, my shop had just hit rank 1 as well. I loved that shop, it was good to me. I didn't know how to reliably get kitty banks so not looting the shop's coffers was my best way to store money since I was so weak and kept dying.
Around this time I had also started feeling guilty for using the wiki so much. I know how silly that is now but there you go. So I decide I'll try to figure out what Mani's gem does myself. "Well Jure's heals you, god of healing. Kumi's helps you farm, god of harvest. Mani is the god of machines. Maybe it sets up a trap? Oh or summons a robot pet!"

Now, I'm in the middle of my shop dropping off all the items from one of my few successful dungeon runs. I decide now is as good a time as any to try out the gem, I mean why not? What could happen?

Mani's gem, when identified, is called "Mani's gem stone of satellite shooter". It calls down a satellite laser strike on the map you are currently in. It damages enemies, you, your pets, neutral npcs, the terrain.

I was the only survivor, and barely at that. I still don't know how I survived considering how weak I was. My pets, my shop keeper, all my customers, everyone was dead. I stood in the ruins of my livelyhood, broken and beaten. Barely alive. This was my reward for worshipping Mani. I swore revenge that day. With my hands thrown to the heavens, screaming Mani's name. I swore I'd have revenge.

Now the grandchild of that character might finally do it. I might even be able to take Mani as I am now. That isn't enough anymore though. I want to kill Deus ex Manina, Mani's inner god.

There's your story anon.

On that note, does anyone know if I could attach an inner god to a sandbag?

Dream/wonder only.

Get as many magic vendors as you can find, probably 2. Then get 2 or more goods (not general goods, just goods) vendors as well. Buy every scroll of wonder you see, bless them after you have a good stack. Bam, you have 4000 stocks of summon spirits. I have I think 11k stocks of resurrection because of this.

The only reason I need books anymore is because I drain my mana bar with magic storm every time I'm about to sleep. That drains the stocks a bit faster than this gets them. You'll want to overload your cart till you're at 10 speed then just reset your shops over and over to quicken this. This has the major benefit of getting you crazy amounts of herbed food if you have a few statues of kumi. It also gets you a good stock of flying scrolls, potential potions, evolution, etc etc.

Most of my speed has come from blessed Hermes potions. I farm dungeon bosses for medals which I exchange for them. I've been sticking to the dungeon danger level 2x level or lower rule and most dungeons I can clear really fast. I'm not above taking those rare dungeons that are only lv 50 or so that oddly show up as a lower level dungeon and its dungeon bosses still has an equal chance of giving me medals.

Although I haven't tried this medal making scheme myself someone did make mention that you can use the deep sea castle for time skip hijinks(Or maybe overload your cart?) So if you reset wishing wells like the one in Noyel you can then wish for treasure maps. These treasure maps can lead to treasure with medals if I recall correctly.

Anyhow, I'll probably beat South Tyris when I get my speed to 2000 and then I'll look into doing the awakened dungeons to start grinding out those levels. Thanks for the heads up on that.

The casting it needs scales with your spell level, anon. The formula is on the wiki.

CastMod for Wish should be 4 + SpellLevel. SpellDifficulty for wish is 5250.

You've gotten that many? Strange that you're not higher level then. I've only bought maybe 4 hermes blood over the course of my character, and the only other thing I bought with medals is the shield tonfa. I am about ready to buy another 2 though. I do a good amount of dungeons too. Not to mention I overload my cart constantly to get scrolls of wonder, so I get a bunch of wizard's harvest.

I feel like that would be a waste of wishes by the way. Treasure maps are really easy to get once you have just a few levels in wizards harvest. I just polished off the 8 I got from half my stocks, stocks I got just today. Only got about 10 small medals from the lot of them though.

Ya no problem. You can make some amazing stuff out of those cores. I have a speed ring with
40 speed and 21 con right now, and I think I can fit more on it. Cores made me immune to every status, all on one piece of gear, and boosted my magic device and light armor by silly amounts on another. Then I have a pair of 7 leagues that give me at least strong in every resist, couple that with fairy racials and I'm golden.

Artifact fusion is amazing.

I suspect that my leveling has been slow because when I do farm medals it's a a straight shot to the boss with me ignoring enemies and gear and just looking for stairwells and the boss. Most of my exp has been generated through usage of skills like gardening, reading spellbooks, etc. I do have Kokou btw. For most of my early game I was a solo player but have taken to training my pet. I now just consider Kokou to read as "As your allies fall summon the inner sonic within you."

What I find strange though is that my character is not aging...A couple of pumpkins in the past have thrown what I guess were blessed slow potions at me which have caused my character to become 12. I think it's been a couple of years now and my character is still 12 years old. Could it be that they knocked me so back in years that it may take a couple of years for me start aging again? It gets kinda odd having to hold my little girl's hand because she's technically the adult. It gets even stranger with the squeeze command and going to bed at night lol.

I've seen people that have a very bright teal color for their "Random Ass listens to your music" and even for their stat increase phrase

Also how the hell do I set up the shift cores to actually be able to use them? I might as well try to make my terminator bell even more broken.

Warrior or Priest is fine but if you do plan on playing around a lot with pets check out the Priest. Priests have the class ability that lets them heal for more. Might be useful in keeping your pets alive.

Sadly, spell buffs only buff yourself but spell casting should be picked up because you can still heal your pets and remove hexes with spells. I tried getting a T-Rex into a similarly dangerous state the same way as my angel, mostly because I wanted to name him Grimlock and give him a shotgun, but he tends to get himself slain a lot more, and if I needed a speed boost badly, I'd drink the several portions of speed upper I have saved in my house.

Anyways the point is is that I recognize having another set of hands to tackle dungeons with would be nice, it's just in doing so I'd stunt the growth of my first pet by not letting her loot as many corpses as before, and I'd have to bring more food with me on dungeon trips, and that would mean more downtime. >> No.13488068

>>13487992
There are a couple of people in this thread and prior ones that have a fairy character that have made it to end game or near end game. They're also pretty successful in the game as well.

As for innate stuff, like resists, it's definitely useful especially early on in the game. On one side of the argument people will say that other character races can create a gear set that can get superb or better in all resists rendering the fairy perk obsolete but on the other hand a fairy character doesn't need to worry too much about resists and can look for gear that have other abilities on them. The DV bonus Fairies get can be nice as well.

The only painful thing about being a fairy is that weight limit but with flying scrolls and a bit more patience with gear this problem can be dealt with.

Overall, the fairy race is a solid choice and if you're willing to put in a little extra effort with the gear handicap you there is no reason why you can't have a successful fairy character.

13488076

>>13487992
We're pretty good.

Advantages are high mana, like damn good mana. The DV is good, it's not amazing but it's good. It makes the mid-game a breeze but it falls off toward the end game, always at least pretty useful though. Then there's the resistances, which I say are the main draw of the race. It's extremely easy to become virtually immune to all spell damage, except maybe nether, pretty early on. Later you don't need to devote much artifact fusion or gear otherwise to boosting it either. Build up attribute shield eventually and you'll laugh in the face of any spell caster. I'm taking on level 600ish awakened dungeons right now and the element dragons/five head gods can't touch me.

Disadvantages are pretty bad though. Our tiny life and weight limit makes things scary, really scary, early on. You'll have to build around not getting one shot, a lot. Stag gods and the like are a bit more of a wall for us, get contingency. The life is the big one really. It's fixable but you'll need a lot of little sisters/music tickets and you'll never catch up to someone who has done the same grind and chose a different race.

The weight limit isn't shit for the most part. Invest in magic/goods vendors early and you'll start getting enough flying scrolls to equip a few of the things you want. At end game it's completely ignorable.

So ya, definitely recommend it for a mage, maybe a pet master.

I think it's a certain level in magic stat. It might also be casting. I've had it for a long time so I can't really say.

I'd assume magic because it uses the magic stat to determine damage, but maybe it also has charisma in there because it is a party based move.

When I was around level 100 I had a chaos shaman and 2 other low magic stat pets. I would use over-ray sometimes to conserve mana because it did almost exactly the same damage as my magic dart (highest level attack spell at the itme). So that's with one decent magic stat pet. I imagine it would be pretty good with a squad of high magic stat pets in reserve.

Go for it. Good old fashioned experimenting is always fun. Once I get to 600 and astral pen frisia's tail I'll summon some stupidly high level magic spirits and test out the damage I can do with it, I'll let you know. Might be a few days though.

x = (All eligible allies' magic + your magic)[capped at your magic * 9 + your magic)
y = (Your casting * 6 + 10) * (your magic multiplier)

(y/70 + 1 + x/25)d(y/18 + 2 + 1)

I'm 100% sure that damage formula is correct. The variables (x/y) may not be right, as this thing spans three functions before everything is calculated, so I may have missed something.

>> No.13492661

Technically, yes. I just wrote it that was as that's how it is in the code. The first part is calculated (All eligible allies' magic), then reduced to (your magic * 9) if it's higher, and then that number is temporarily added to your magic score. Hence, your magic * 9 + your magic.

It's the same reason I wrote:
(y/18 + 2 + 1)
Instead of
(y/18 + 3)

It's simply how it's written in the code.

I've tried to find out how the scaling works before and didn't really come up with anything. Most of the things I can find are because I have something to go off of; a message when the ability is used, an internal ID (spells, etc.) that are easy to find, and so on. Then it's just deciphering things in the area until you find out what you want.

There's not really much to go off of with regards to attribute/skill scaling though.

I've posted a few of the special action details to the wiki (body blow, attribute, cheer), but they're just in comments. If I get some more free time at work I'll see about working on the others. That's where I do most of this, as a way to keep myself busy when I've got nothing to do.

Earlier in this thread there was a guy who posted about how he killed the gods. He's a person who rides pets for speed and naturally he has been playing for a long time.

If I had to guess, maybe one of the reasons why he took up riding was because in prior versions of Elona riding was the easiest way to increase your speed. Later versions of Elona made it easier to raise your character's speed leading to some players forgoing mounts.

As it currently stands though it will still take a considerable amount of time to get 2000 speed with either method. Mounted people want a pet with a lot of speed and a lot of slots to equip gear to increase speed. Attaining speed gear, gene engineering, and raising the riding skill takes a lot of time. For players wanting to raise their character's speed they have to gather AP and farm speed increasing potions, gear, etc.

Anyhow, most of the time when I see a mounted player I always have to wonder if they're a veteran player that has been playing since 1.16.

Well I personally wouldn't say riding is shit. I'd just say it's an alternative way of raising speed. As pointed out above riders want a fast pet, lots of slots for speed gear, and high riding skill. I should also add that they may also want to look into speed enhancement consumables and AP to raise speed but it will be for the pet not the player.

At any rate, the decision will really come down to do you want to focus your speed on yourself or your pet that you will ride. Some players like the perk of having somewhat of a second life bar since your pet is the first to go if you should sustain massive injuries while mounted. On the flipside others will say that since your speed is all in your pet then if the pet dies there goes your speed and maybe you'll be next to die soon after. Also, some just don't like the extra micro managing when it comes to pets.

So the choice is yours with what you want to do. Both will get you to your goal of high speed but what are you comfortable with?

I see the wiki recommends gene engineering mutants into them.

Is there any real penalty for complicated bodies on shop keepers?

I know it lowers speed but is that it?

>> No.13495906

But your INI doesn't increase if you just increase your own speed. If it did then there would be no problem in riding, but it doesn't.

>>13495852
Try putting each item in a different tile.

>> No.13495959

>>13495906
INI doesn't increase, yes. The already accumulated AP is why you start getting less and less AP.

>> No.13495966

>>13495959
And with riding your actual INI increases. Which nets you less AP.

>> No.13496013

So to sum it up you either get riding, and keep catching better and better rides that have higher survivability and speed. You get an additional HP bar, a sacrifice in case you would die, and an extra inventory that is sworn to carry your burdens.
Or you don't ride, get AP sooner, get faster by spending that AP your defensive skills train more by themselves, and you get less hit penalties.
Did I miss something?
I do believe a healthy mix of both is the way to go.

Training the Riding skill isn't easy or fast, so you either ride from the start or you never do. Right now it seems the game favors those that don't ride.

>> No.13496077

>>13496049
It's not fast but you can speed it up a little by reading a riding skillbook during heavy rain or snow. I imagine you'd need like 300 in riding to ride the best pet so I do se your point.

>> No.13496804

By the time you're looking at 2000 speed riding you can do awakened dungeons, which means extremely fast skill points. It also means your AP is going toward skill points.

Invest 400 odd skill points into a max potential skill and it gains about 50 levels. Just food for thought.

I got them in one day by feeding shit to the fairy and throwing cursed booze at her. I guess it would be even more practical to use Body Blow to squeeze the seeds out of the fairy.
The only problem is that she is not cute anymore, she has only 1 CHA because of all that vomit covering her face. But well, look at all those seeds!

I wish elona+ kept the rotten food = seeds system. They could really do a lot more with gardening. Like seeds having +x modifiers that can determine the quality, or increase the chance of better yields. Bring back the rotten food system and make gardening increase the chance of one spawning and the quality (initially very low). This could even balance kumi statues since you could make them only give +1 or even +0 seeds.

>> No.13498289

>>13498251
I would prefer it if they had a system in place where once you went to harvest your plants you would get what the plant bears as well as having a chance to collect a seed from said plant. Rarer plants would be hard to collect seeds from but a high gardening should at least give you a reasonable chance for maybe harvesting a seed from them.

>> No.13498314

>>13498289
That's not a bad idea either. Gardening is really the only thing they kind of screwed up with plus. Taking rods of wish out of magic seeds was a bit of a misstep too, although making them much rarer would be a good idea.
It's in a weird place. The gardening system is extremely strong and practically manditory for an endgame character, but the gardening skill is pretty weak. It has a soft cap at only 60 and doesn't do too much past that. The modifiers on food was a step in the right direction but I think a more entertaining way to get seeds is the biggest improvement they need to make.

Harvest times are really tedious once you hit even 300 odd speed, let alone end game levels. Cute fairy isn't terrible I guess but I'm not a fan of a mandatory pet, and I thought the rotten food change was to fix farmers absolutely needing to worship Kumi?

>> No.13498366

>>13498314
I blame Kumi for the gardening system. He needs to get his shit together. Kumi needs to invent more ways of farming or allow more of his fairies to come down and help said farmers.

Mani is probably sneering at him asking him why he doesn't just let machines automate the work. Kumi probably told Mani go fuck himself many years ago.

>Harvest times are really tedious
I summon a snail that has 22 speed then ride it when I'm done with the quota.
What needs to be done is to change harvest times in a way that it won't fail if you have met the quota and the walked out of the field. Something like hunting, panic, challenge quests.

How the fuck do you do party time quests.

I have level 20 perform and a recorder and I keep failing.

They are green 2x $ quests, why the fuck are they so hard.

The goal is to get the blue stars above assholes heads right?

>> No.13498416

>>13498397
That's correct you want to get blue stars above their heads to indicate that you got points from them which will factor in to your final score at the end. 20 performance is a bit on the low side. You'll achieve a lot more victories in those quests once your performance is at least 50. Try building your skill up at the cyber dome by playing for all those punks.

>> No.13498433

>>13498397
Hang in there, perform is very difficult to build up. However, when you reach 30 in performer (and gain a level) you get the Ensemble ability to let your pets perform with you. This basically guarantees party time success.

All of them.

Depending on what class you are you you'll have priorities, but all of them are good. These are my durations. The buffs above contingency I just started leveling a day ago. So as you can see durations get really long.

I keep the lower 5 on at all times in dungeons, and once I get the upper 5 leveled I'll keep them on too. I would have the all leveled but I didn't know you could press ctrl+number to map spells to a second set of hotkeys, and just didn't have room for them all.

An easy way to level them is to just put the corner of your wallet, or other heavy-ish item on the hotkey and go make a sandwich. I do this all the time. If I'm sleepy I'll drain my mana bar on a buff like that while reading something or cooking, then go to sleep, and when I wake up my mana is back. You obviously don't have to every time but buffs are stupid easy to level, just time consuming sometimes.

Farming is already overpowered as it is now, it doesn't need any more buffs. It became basically a mandatory skill. Unless they want people to spend even more time gardening, they shouldn't introduce even more things to it.

I don't want farming buffs, I want a more even distribution of power within gardening, as well as deepening the skill, since it is such a major part of the game at this point.

Besides, it isn't really gardening that's overpowered. It's the herb in recipe specifically that's OP.

>> No.13499314

It doesn't help that it's been so easy to get herbs from farming. It makes farming OP by relation. Even this many herbs by themselves would be a lot even if there was no recipe.

I think I'd prefer more ways to increase stats than one really good way, like herbs. I think the rate they increase right now isn't bad, at least at peak endgame.

>> No.13499424

>>13499399
Well, they introduced new ways to get potential, like picnic baskets and breakfast, but still none for actually increasing stats. I personally think it'd be hard to make up a new way to do that that's more efficient than herbed food, though.

>> No.13499457

>>13499424
Well they added the 1500 AP for 100 skill points, which I've been exploiting to no end. It leads to massive gains in skills and pretty good gains in stats. That was a step in the right direction.

Either way, I really don't think herb in is that broken. If you're at the point where you have enough Kumi statues to eat them for every meal and you're overcarting to farm up a big stack of them, you're going for gods, even inner gods, and they will take a long time to get you to that point, even with their potency.

>> No.13499487

>>13499457
At the end you can just ignore farming completely and still go at your own pace, since Elona is single player and there's no reason to rush. But it feels kind of a waste to not use something so good. I wouldn't like being level 100 and having stats under 150.

>> No.13499535

Can you artifact fuse inner god weapons? I want to make frisia's tail even more ridiculous.

Anyway, I'll make a new thread since we're at page 10. Discussion has been good the last few days.

>>13499487
I know what you mean. Even though there's no negatives to leveling anymore (aside from less skill points if your learning can't keep up, which is minor) it still feels like you should keep your level low for your stats.

Right now I'm trying to hit 600 for reasons and it just feels so dirty. I can get 6 levels off a batch of summoned spirits, and I can get 4 from an awakened dungeon, but now my stats are lower than my level. There's no negative to it, but it feels so dirty and gross.
