The frills on her hairband is the most obvious indication. It looks rather sloppy compared to the real thing. Her tag is also supposed to be blue and not purple. Overall, you can tell that her quality seems to be subpar, but at least she's not terrible looking. I hope you love her nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure it's legit. I was worried that my V1 Marisa was a bootleg too. Her hat was a bit warped and she just looked peculiar compared to my other fumos. But after some searching around, I think it's just because it's an older release. I noticed that the address printed on your Marisa's tag is Gift's old address instead of the newer one. My Marisa has the old address as well. However, my Reimu (a re-release?) has Gift's new address on her tag. So I'm assuming they probably just made some changes to Marisa when they were re-releasing her.

Well, when preordering Kokoro, I aso preordered this Tenryuu plushie and she is finally here. Was a bit cheaper than a fumo and partly not as well made. The legs just flap around, I wish they were made more solid. But all in all, pretty nice.

I found her on suruga-ya searching ふもふも. She just popped up one day and had to nab her.

There is a Reimu on there too, but since there are more of her around I am having been trying to find her through different means. That and I have a feeling they might release a Reimu V2 like they did with Marisa and Sanae.

I am trying to find Mokou, missed her on Mandarake, and Yuyuko for less than $50 each but there is always some wiggle room. I tried to get a Yuyu on yahoo auctions, but some dude kept out bidding me =(

Guess who I found downtown? Milady should not be sitting on a shelf all day, from here on out it will be quality tea and homemade biscuits everyday for her.

She was only $25 which surprised me, especially since I got her from a hobby store where nearly everything was marked up. They had a handful of fumos, and even a nendoroid Marisa all at around the same price. She doesn't SEEM to be a bootleg, if she is I wouldn't even mind since the quality is pretty good (though the hair is sewn in front of the eyes which is a bit odd). Just goes to show that you don't always need to order from overseas, a new friend may be closer than you think!

Overall it's great, but the eyes are rather creepy, I was thinking of painting them or just using the fabric and sew it carefully on the face. My parents were very hesitant, as I hadn't written on it what it was, nor did I tell them what it was. They listened to it when I wasn't there. They later told me it was one of the nicest melodies they had ever heard and they knew none of them.

I think the only ones they are making are Kokoro and the V2 Marisa and Sanae.

In 1-2 months they will probably stop those and move on the to the next ones they have in the pipeline. Some of the earlier Fumos did have mutiple re-releases it looks like, but the newer ones only had 2 max.
