I remember when people were complaining about the non-stop bullshit memes the "master of 5" and the "...77 is you waifu" /b/ faggotry before the split. The blame was placed on Touhou, VNs, and other bread-and-butter of the current otaku subculture, and now there's nothing left of /a/ but the former.

It's sad, because while /a/ has reaped its own punishment and self-inflicted whatever revenge we might have wished on it, the whole board is now irreparably damaged for the rest of us.
