My only gripes about that chart is Flandre should be closer to Remilia's level but still be a bit higher, Yuuka's chart should be going up instead of down, Chen's should should only go up to where Youmu's portrait begins, and Alice's shouldn't go that high. Anyway, what makes Kaguya so fearsome is not her powers alone, but the fine-grained scope at which she can use them.

Take the moonbitch fight, for instance. If it was Kaguya in Sakuya's position instead, she wouldn't have been hit by the lightning. She can set the rate at which the attack move to zero, and the rate at which it dissipates into instantaneous (as she did with the player's bullets in her spell). It's not Sakuya's power that's weaker, but it's her lack of fine control. If Sakuya could apply her power selectively with the level of granularity that Kaguya can, she wouldn't have lost, not to that attack, at least.

Kaguya's ability turns one into the other. It's difficult to say how this works in practice since the examples we have are limited to hiding Eientei's history in an instant, unlocking the stopped night, effects of the Hourai Elixir, and such.

The way I see it, if Sakuya wants to age something, she has to speed up the time in the area surrounding that thing. This impression is derived from how she has to stop the time of an entire area (she can't just point at something and go ``fuck you, stop moving''). There hasn't been a youkai death in the windows continuity. They're supposedly resistant to physical attacks, and weak to spiritual ones.
Gensokyo is about harmony, and Akyuu implies that any side gaining superiority will cause extinction of youkai. I assumed it was because of loss of fear, not expertise in extermination.
My guess is that you can't fully kill a youkai with simply firepower, spiritual or not, probably force them into dormancy?

Akyuu explicitly says that Magicians (Youkai) are born, and age, like humans. I just generalized Youkai and assumed what might be the origin of Patchouli.

Fighting against hax character at last/Ex stage can give you more tension, like "Fuck, this girl who's behind the incident can *hax power* or is a goddess/yama, I'm in for some serious shit" even if they didn't went all out. I believe that was what ZUN intended until he seems to run out of ideas. That's why he came up with someone like Yukari and lunarians.

On the other hand, fighting against priest, politician, two trickster youkai, liliput with magic hammer and a drummer didn't give the same feeling (though, I believe they at least have considerable power), but I take it that he just want to expand Gensokyo, make stories and music now. The lore of recent games are pretty good and DDC is a solid game.

this is mostly a cultural thing, I believe. Fighting against one of the most famous and important figure in Japanese history is a pretty big fucking thing. If you want to imagine it, it's probably like fighting magical George Washing-tan or something like that.

Besides, as we've seen from HM, Miko is a spirit/desire reactor. She has the potential to become very, very powerful if she were to absorb massive amount of desires. She would probably be able to perform unimaginable mystic arts (as her Hermit abilities would be amplified) and perhaps even conjure small miracles (owing to her Sainthood).
