How often do you drink sake?

Not often enough.
It's the only alcoholic beverage both me and my girlfriend like to drink.
I think I want go out and buy a bottle, but I've already had beer can earlier and I don't like to mix them.

Only a couple times at restaurants, it was pretty nice. I really like Sapporo too, very light and good with a meal. Outside of that though, I never drink that much outside of meals.

Alcohol never gets me drunk, at least beer doesn't. I might have a 4 beers (any more than that is unpleasant) and will get a slight buzz if I'm lucky. It doesn't seem like it's worth the insane prices for having taxed alcohol in my country.

How strong are different sake? I sometimes use it in cooking.

I tried it once and it tasted like water with a hint of alcohol and a terrible aftertaste. I didn't heat it though. Is this bad?

If you buy cheap sake, it will probably be shit. Same goes for any alcohol, obviously.

This. You get what you pay for, unless of course you are an alcoholic and the taste doesn't matter to you anymore.

As for me, I'm drinking green tea right now and abstaining from drugs, alcohol, and violence for as long as my mind and will shall let me.

Also in case you didn't know, in Japanese the word 'Sake' refers to alcohol in general. If you are in Japan and want to drink what we call Sake you should ask for Nihonshu.
