Even if you like wide hips, that's a <little> bit too much, it doesn't even make sense.

Last drawing, both are my OCs. Coloring numerically is such a pain compared to the markers, but those never look good when scanned.

Ideally, you really want a flat surface (hue) to draw with it, lifting it up to an angle of about 10 degrees or so. It's not great for holding up to draw (it's kind of heavy on its own).

I haven't used much besides SAI, which imo requires a lot of keyboard shortcuts. You want to get a separate keyboard for those shortcuts ideally, and not the Type Cover. I can attest that the Wacom digitizer is solid, though SAI is a bit loose on touch rejection. You'll get a few stray misreads here and there. I've heard that Manga Studio is the best for it.

Besides that, I'm still more comfortable in doing precise work with a regular Bamboo on the desktop. It feels weird to have my hand obscure a lot of the screen, and the refraction of the screen makes tiny details go off by just a little bit. Your mileage may vary.

Penny Arcade's artist also uses a Surface Pro and he's done several reviews on all the versions. You could go give them a read.

Once I had that art forum mentality too. thinking about it though, I realized that first most artists nowadays (and I use artist in its broader conception, as "a guy that draws") simply learn by copying fiished products, and second that learning to draw in someone else style isn't really something you can call a victory, except if you do it to enter the faceless sweatshop armies of expendable concept artists so easily found online.
in conclusion, "can't tell me what to do, it's my style" is probably a legitimate expression, taking in consideration exceptions when appropriate.

I miss back when Dis had a bunch of pit fiends and ice fiends instead of being Gehenna v2 with almost as much hellfire, plus war gargoyles that are now fast and hit like a ton of bricks. Whomever put regular gargoyles on mid-D and labyrinths should be taken out back and shot, too. I also miss summoning 300 dragons with Summon Dragon, sending them to wander around and killing Cerebov offscreen. Good times.

DCSS really needs an Elona-like monster girl patch that turns all the monsters into cute girls (also, Nemelex becomes the maid god who rewards you for cleaning up the dungeon). It would be /jp/'s choice of roguelike then.
