A guy that have gone and watched Meru(and Team H) performed at the theater concludes that Meru is what you called 'born to be Center'. She's passionate and lively when she performs, but the real reason why Meru should be a center is because when she's out of the limelight, supposedly she seems a bit clueless. Whenever she's not the center, she seems confused and her presence on the stage wanes.

Basically speaking, being the Center is where Meru could show her potential as an idol. Not necessarily because she's better than the others, but just so that you could use her to the best of her potential. At least that's what the guy said and thought about her. Though this might just be a weakness born from her inexperience, and will gradually fix itself as time goes by.

To be honest, I think she's adorable. Probably there's other members that deserve to be Center than her, but it's not like that Meru is undeserving of the position, or that she's a bad Center either.

I'm glad Mayuyu got center, but its some how feels like something is missing. It's like her charisma is only for Otaku and doesn't have the mass media appeal. Which is essential if AKB wants to continue being on top.
