I read 3 routes but after reading the route of the running girl i had absolutely no motivation left to finish the rest. You could completely guess the whole plot and every twist once her mother appeared at that one race. I thought i was missing something at first and that maybe it's not real ending but no.

I went on to read other vn's and KS isnt even in my top 5. (Higurashi, Ever17, Remember11, Chaos;Head and I/O)

It was good, (better than YMK) but fucking hell. I hear it's just a fanfiction and tripfag circlejerk now. For the best really. If it was destroyed they may spread to other vn threads. Atleast they are contained now.

Why wouldn't they be able to? It's just a glorified picture book. Assuming they weren't trying to use Japanese art they could make a "visual novel" as good as anyone else. All a "good VN" really boils down to in the first place would be "good writing" unless the art was exceptionally shit, and if you think the elevens can write better than the West you're fucking crazy.

I'm not saying KS was great or anything, but to assume that all of the West can't create a better VN than Japan's newest "Fuck dat kawaii nigga simulator 9830" title using KS as a benchmark is ridiculous.
