All Japanese 48/46 and related sub-groups are welcome.

Details for this years election have been announced. Voluntary nomination like last year. Current members from AKB, SKE, NMB, HKT and former AKB members in overseas groups are allowed to run. Deadline has been reached for candidacy application.
Number of rankings has increased to 80 girls (65-80 is upcoming girls).
Voting period is May 20th 10:00 to June 6 15:00
Results will be revealed June 7th.

Katayama Haruka, Kikuchi Ayaka, Kaneko Shiori, Goto Risako, Nakanishi Yuka, Kato Tomoko, Takatsuka Natsuki, Mizuno Honoka, Iguchi Shiori, Kato Rumi, Sora Miyuka, Akazawa Hono, Kinoshita Momoka, Chikano Rina not entering election.

Details of the Pennant Race have been announced, in which teams and groups will compete to earn points through sales.

Iriyama Anna starring in a film adaptation of indie horror gamer Ao Oni.

Uchida Mayumi announced she is opening a yakiniku restaurant "'Yakiniku IWA".

Sashihara Rino will participate in Uchida Yuya's new single "Shakin up Baby". Release 6/11
Yuko graduation concert day after election at Ajinomoto stadium.

Cold Stone is pretty good, but unless you're like 6-years-old ice cream from a chain store isn't exactly a major event.

At least in that one game on AKBINGO the prizes were sweets from high-end, exclusive patissiers that even celebrities might have a hard time getting, but even with the fact that J-idols don't get paid all that much and the fact that the underage ones probably have their money managed by their parents, it's hard to imagine that they couldn't just stop off at Cold Stone for a strawberry blonde whenever they feel like it.

I'm running it on my Galaxy S2 which was from 2011 I think, and it runs flawlessly save for some bugs from the game itself. The bigger issue would be space on your phone as I think it uses internal memory instead of an SD.

I'm very close friends with someone that's a veteran member and pretty much got him to VNC my computer for the interview and he just did it for me haha. I can't even function socially online so I would've screwed up the interview some how.

That covers all you need to know for the interview. Ratio on WCD is a lot lot harder than jpopsuki because there's no BP/SP/etc. system at all and most of your upload will be coming from what you upload anyway. Also being on Australian internet doesn't help with my poor upload speeds.

Since I'm a member of both I kind of gatekeep by downloading/uploading/encoding from both sites.

Need help/guidelines on lessons and team building in general, also member skills.

My consensus on team building is outside of your first pick/oshi, most of your default members are generally bad.

I would unlock couple of 3 star members first and then go to third option in menu "Member/メンバー" Then go to first option "Unit/ユニット" Then on your first team press the middle button like "オススメkanji", this will stack that team with your most powerful members as are.

leftmost option is to make the team 'default' and the rightmost is to individually pick members. And the red button on bottom left is to save changes, don't forget to do this!

>Lessons
>Normal Lessno [First Option]
As far as I know the significance of member colours are negligible unless they're green OR Bronze Jersey Takamina (I'll explain green members in a tick.).
Bronze Takamina are god tier for lessons since each one gives about 10% increase for minimum hearts.

>Special Lessons [Second Option]
Special Lessons are for evolving 100% members.
Green Members are used for Evolving your member to another star [e.g. from 3 star to 4, 4 to 5.] and significantly increases their power.

Green members are only obtainable from special songs of the day [Shoujotachi is current one at the moment.]. And what I HEAR is the members you get from the day are fixed so I wouldn't spend all my LP/gems trying to get specific green members.

You can treat it like Pokémon and train your oshimen if you want. But highest stars AND points are for the best.

Honestly, I don't even take them into account, almost all the skills are for covering you being bad. And some increase points you get.

I'm bit of a rhythm and beat junkie and love these types of games, played a massive amount of taiko when I was a young weeb. It gets to the point where you just need to see the targets appearing and their speed and you can kinda just "know" when to hit. So I can see them appearing from the middle/below and hit them while watching for new ones appearing.

Personally I struggle with the flicks which stops me from getting full combo on the likes of Koisuru Fortune Cookie Hard.

Also if you haven't done it yet I highly recommend going to...

Menu > first option > Fifth option "オプション" then hitting the red button "タイミング".
This calibrates the beats to button and will make the game more fluid/intuitive.

When you hear the drums banging, hit the pads when they hit the high note so 1 > 2 > 3 > press.

Then afterwards it'll throw beats at you and you hit them like normal to see if there's an improvement/change then you can choose No/いいえ or Yes/はい　to change.

Make teams with at least 3 members of the same color and use the appropriate team color based on the color of the song.(Multiplier bonus)

Heavy Rotation - red song, so use a unit with red members.
Also, 5 star members changes the excellent hits to perfect which results in a higher score. (Only works with notes that has the same color as the 5 star member.)

It is obvious to me that the center of janken has been rigged since the first one flopped so hard. The only AKB48 single since Beginner that didn't sell over a million was Chance no Juban at <700k, and outside CD sales it just didn't produce momentum for the group or the members. All subsequent winners were members getting hard pushed or already headline members, which is statistically extremely unlikely given the proportion of unknown members. The members would go along with it because how the fuck wouldn't they, do you really think it wouldn't end their career (and make them a pariah beyond showbusiness) permanently to try and out that? Plus, they can see how well winning worked for an unknown member from the first one.
