Making transition animations for everything is going to be a pain in the ass...

I need to get a better pen for outlining. The one I'm using now causes too much flooding, especially when I need to go slow (faces and fine details). Just look at how Marisa the alchemist was ruined! It's a good thing I saved an earlier sketch, maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Progress has been a little slow because I sketched out a bunch of backgrounds just to help plan everything out and it really showed how daunting the task for quality backgrounds is going to be. There is one background in particular which may be about 4 screens wide by 3 high. but It'll be worth it I think. It's also been slow because I am lazy.

Here is some music I have so far. Working on this project has taught me that I am certainly not a musician. although there's enough resources out there to improve I found a channel that teaches people how to make instruments with the same synth I like using.

If you're desperate and unwilling to hire a musician, you can find and download a bunch of free original MIDIs on google and just change the instruments or sample them.

I think I may try to make use of more 3D objects to help streamline issues where possible. They will certainly only be for auxiliary purposes. I would hate to ruin a scene with something that isn't fitting.

These multiple perspective things might look a bit weird as people walk across the middle part. I have seen some games make it so the screen is static and then pans across. Hopefully no one minds it too much if I don't put anything on the edges and void something like the middle where they clash.

I could make the player keep his pants on for the scene, but I was planning on not having any clothes for any sex scenes since that would involving making a shitload of animations for each clothes type since you can't just rotate since clothes need to move a bunch and doing a limb-based skeletal animation system here would look ugly since it's so low-res so 1 misplaced pixel by software/hardware rotation could make a massive difference.

I don't know how people do programming without going mad. Thankfully the coding for my game isn't too intense thanks to AGS although. A lot of my problems seemed to have stemmed from the fact that I forgot code runs down one after another. However I finally managed to program my scrolling so instead of auto following the character so all my one point sketches that are segmented won't look weird to the player.
At least now I can go back to doing easy stuff.

She does look more naked now(somehow it's the armpit line that does it for me), and also I didn't notice now bad that arm you sorta fixed was. I don't think circular pasties "work" without being colored in, but saying they're pasties is enough, probably. Shading them will probably just make them look more like huge areolae.

Getting things wrong from the beginning is of course a given thing but why not try to change flaws from the start? I am an artist of other styles so it's simply about wether I have "correctly" understood the base of the style or not. Also, I know some mobile phone cameras have an annoying habit of turning the images sideways, even if they initially appear to be normal.
If the unwanted rotation persists, you could try to open the image in paint and re-save the image.
