Sanae is *the* only one girl you would want to go to Gensokyo with. She can ask Kanako to get you there in the same way they did and then protect you from hungry youkai. And become your wife later.

Sanae is still a newbie and still used to Gensokyo, but if she can fight on par with likes of Byakuren and Miko, then imagine how strong and respected she can become in the future.

Actually, why not? A shrine maiden of all people would easily find respect among townsfolk on the countryside. I suppose Kanako told her to move to Gensokyo with her, and she complied. And she propably *was* bored with real world. Just look at her reaction to danmaku battles.
