When you've gotta walk a good distance in the snow for a while, you'd want an umbrella too. Not only do you get wet from all the snow, but you'd be a jackass for shaking off all that snow in the house and getting damn floor wet. People in America do this shit too, though it's not as common and typically only in the cities.
