They are kinda stiff and the shoulders seem too broad. For girls of that stature, they shouldn't have enough room for three heads on their shoulder. (If that sounds harsh, I am sorry, couldn't really think of any other way to put it.)

There's a bunch of anatomy issues. Her rib cage seems to broad in the back (under her arm area), her shoulder is too small, hips look too narrow, neck is poorly defined, and her head placement isn't right. Don't skimp on hands. And whatever that blur thing you have looks bad. I think she'd benefit from some pupils but that's taste rather then anything else.
I'm happy someone else likes Yuugi though.

That blur-thingy isn't intentional though, it's just that the paper was poorly handled the past few weeks.
I kind of guessed a s much for the hips, they really don't look good. Didn't notice the error of the head-placement though, thanks again.

I'm not sure if I'd like to see her wrap her claws around a tea cup, it'd be really unnerving. But i'd read books to her for sure, I imagine she'd have difficulty turning the pages without ripping them, so she'd really like someone to help her read her favourite books and stuff. Yeah I figured it out yesterday. That should make it much easier when I do it again on a colored version. Does the bottom eyelid move up a little bit too though? i know its supposed to move up a lot when the smile is really using those cheek muscles.

Also, this isn't the first time, but every time I finish filling in the base colors, it looks way different and almost worse than just looking at the linework.

This is actually pretty cute, I like the coloring. I agree a bit with the nose, it'd be cuter if it was a bit smaller/less defined. But I like the fluffiness of the hair.

I feel like it has to do with the desire to differentiate from the general anime/manga style. But there are other ways to go about this other than large noses. I've also heard people say its about feminism and showing a "real woman's nose/image" but I don't know.

I draw more standard noses normally, I've just started thinking big noses are pretty fun to draw. They're cute, and it gets sort of boring if you always draw the same kind of nose for all of your characters. Hawk noses are fun too.

As far as tumblr people go I guess it's an obsession with unconventionally attractive body parts or body types to make them feel better about themselves, or something? Since presumably they're fat or ugly (not unlike the people here, just more willing to actually like themselves).

You probably weren't asking seriously but I actually do think it's kind of interesting to think about. I'm a soc student.

Work on your anatomy. The breast shouldn't be that visible from that angle, her head is facing too far to the side (I don't think it's very easy or comfortable to get to drool towards the back of your shoulder). The back poorly done in general. The indentation of her back shouldn't be that sharp through her gown/shirt.
I'm not very fond of the nose but that's style (though if you were to keep it big adding nostrils would look better).
Drooling girls are best girls.

i like your colors. i think a big nose style can work just fine if you can make it look less jarring with the rest of the face. the face and eyes here are very small and pretty standard, and it's interrupted by a huge hook nose that is also incorrect at that angle (you drew it flat against her face when the arc/curve of the nose should be more angled, since she's at a 3/4ths angle)

there are some mangaka that do larger noses (sekirei's comes to mind, though i've seen even larger) but notice that the noses vary depending on the angle (since we're dealing with lines, the outline of the nose needs to reflect the value of the nose set against the face--sometimes minimalism is better, and sometimes a thick outline better portrays the angle of the nose against the face in that particular lighting). the noses are never large just for the sake of being large, which is your problem here.

I never said anything about being an artist for other games, just that he is not an exclusive artist for N1 and does not denote an N1 style. He worked on Marl Kingdom series and La Pucelle as the main artist for N1, and some of Disgaea 1 and was then switched for Harada Takehito but never did much outside of that. As far as I know, he doesn't even draw for N1 anymore.

Like, things people on tumblr reblog a lot, then copy the style of because it gets reblogged a lot.

Most I've seen it usually have to do with drawing really odd noses, adding strange curves to the body types, colouring the outline, and making people orange with a lot of blush on the cheeks and nose. Kinda like Penny Arcade, I think?

Well, since people make fun of tumblr a lot, maybe the meaning has evolved to "stuff I don't like". Or maybe lingerie and whatever that expression is is trendy at the moment.

Anyway, I don't think it's supposed to be critique or anything, he's just pointing it out and being kind of an ass about it.
