Well, Ryukishi07's artwork have a unique style to them, even though they are kind of crude, and I see nothing wrong with the PS3 sprites... I've got to admit though, both sets of sprites have their ups and downs.

In fact, I'm under the impression that Ryukishi07 purposefully made his new artworks bad to cater to his fan. See the amelioration in Higanbana and what he draws now. He's obviously purposefully being shittier than what he could draw.

The PS3 art looks fake and reminds me that I'm playing a visual novel.

The original art and the original backgrounds create a weird, dreamlike atmosphere that pulls you into the story.

I'm glad Higanbana is, ironically, the bullied kid of 07thExpansion and will never become popular enough to have its art ruined by Alchemist.

I feel real bad for this woman, as for Rudolf I just assume his backstory is that " I LEARNED IT FROM YOU DAD!" it seemed pretty obvious that although the kids didn't know much about Beatrice they knew Kinzo had affairs with her over their mother, I came to the conclusion that young Rudolf seeing that his father was practically getting away with living a perfect double life got the impression he could as well. IN EP 8 though unlike Kinzo we see he wasn't as smooth and because of his fuckup he had to basically turn a shitty situation into an even shittier one to make sure to have even the slightest bit of stability later on
