I hate to say it, but I'm honestly not excited about this Alstroemeria album. After the xfade I was really looking forward to tracks like CHECK THIS OUT and EVIL CRUSH, but they ended up being really underwhelming. It's not as bad as POP | CULTURE, but still pretty forgettable. At least there's Shibayan this time around.

The problem with the new Shibayan album is that only half the songs were actually arranged by Shibayan. Don't get me wrong, I like izna and LAZ too and Linjin's entry was better than most of his recent stuff, but they're not the reason I download a Shibayan Album.

It's so good to see spctrm back with a new album, I was starting to get worried.

I'm looking forward to Diverse System, IZMIZM and Kikuo Sound Works.

I'm disappointed Kaede.org is doing Kancolle and it feels like more of a bummer because all of their previous stuff has been original vocal albums.

What makes me think that it's not really a transcode but bad mastering is the presence of energy above the lowpass. The spectrogram looks suspiciously like the mastering engineer transcoded one of his tracks (possibly the instrument track) to mp3 before mixing it with the vocal track. Of course there's the occasional group that sells a few CDs at comiket and that's all there ever will be. That's usually low quality stuff though, rarely the major releases.

This is hard to believe in 2013. When it comes to software players, everything from WMP to iTunes, fb2k, VLC and stock Android players support gapless with the LAME info headers or the native aac-in-mp4. Sam for ogg-vorbis supporting software. For lossless supporting players, gapless is a given. When it comes to hardware players (car CD-MP3 players, Sandisk PMPs, Sony Walkmans etc) again in my experience LAME mp3s and AAC both play gaplessly.

So, back up that assertion that "A lot of players don't support gapless playback" with proof.

Fuck everything, this time I'll stick to the DL Thread, won't listen to a single XFD outside the available titles.
I listened to a lot of C84 XFDs and couldn't find SHIT to download, still can't.

Managed to get my way into Animebytes, but still not enough.

On top of that, I can't mail the creators asking for digital sales, because Brazil is a shithole when it comes to buying online, one cannot make his money virtual and getting an ICC takes a bite off your soul.

I'm thinking of going to some furshit community, do some commissions and earn digital money just so I can TRY to buy all the stuff I can't find. Me so mad twice a year.
