No, it won't. If Okuu doesn't die of radiation that means that her body is unaffected by it completely. If it can't absorb radiation it can't emit it too. Okuu should be perfectly safe when she's not operating in her reactor. All she need to do is to very thoroughly wash of all radioactive dust and dirt before she returns home.

She's also really hard to draw like that.
Her default design is difficult enough to draw, I can attest to that personally. The huge wings, her bangs, her long unique looking hair, third eye, cannon, and foot of fusion/fission (if they are included) take a lot of time. But the creativity that people had with her back then was really something else. I still remember checking Pixiv every morning and seeing like a full page or more of amazing artwork of her around that time, it was glorious.
