It's kinda hard not to do so when you're tall. You gotta build muscle to support your posture. Tall people usually have weak muscle when they're thin because they burn more calories, so it means less fat and proteins. It's kinda hard to find a balance.

If you had criticism to give someone you could just give it to them directly and when they told you that they don't care that is the limit of what criticism can do. If they won't listen to respectfully delivered criticism what is getting 100 people on a forum all calling that person a faggot going to accomplish? Other than making that person feel persecuted and reinforcing the notion that criticism is indistinguishable from bullying?

We don't care if you think someone's kigurumi is bad. We have eyes and can decide that for ourselves.

Ideally, if you had criticism to give someone you could tell them and they would put in the effort to understand it.

In the real world, people won't listen to you unless they admire you or you are a friend of theirs (and they aren't pricks).

People aren't rational. Unless the person you are criticizing is a saint they will see anything negative said about them by someone they don't know as a baseless personal attack.

You still have a face when you are anonymous, the person you are trying to communicate with will imagine a face made of a mixture of everyone who ever hurt them. Speaking as someone they knew could prevent this, but then they can simply say "I don't see you doing any better". There's no way to win really.

Changing peoples behavior is not easy. It is not even possible unless the person wants to change. You've set yourself an impossible task and limited yourself to the tool least likely to work.

Well, people not being ration is technically not a problem of mine. I can't do anything to change. I don't really care if they listen it or not, I just wanna say stuff. They'll get mad regardless in my experience, even if you play by the normal side. It doesn't matter, they don't wanna listen, but still I wanna say stuff and not being censored or badmouthed, cause they do that.

I believe also that this way is a better way. Think of it as this: people know it's not pure hate, you see it on the way it's written. They also know that they being paranoid about it happens 'cause of their stupid emotional side.
It's their option to control or be stupid. In the end, it might not be the most efficient way to convince people, but it is definetely the most open for discussion.
The real deal is not really to convince them of something, I don't really care if they change or not, it's more a thing like "listen to it, you'll get better", but the choice in the end is all on the one listening (or not).

It's like a democracy, it's clearly not an efficient system to get things done, but it is (in theory) fair and open to everyone.

what makes a lot of western kigs bad isnt that they're to skinny or to tall its that they dont seem to give a shit about proper padding or posing for some reason, they have the idea that they can just wear a zentai and mask and thats it

Considering that you can do other shit with a 3D printer, it's a pretty worthwhile investment if you can figure out how to turn that into money. Initial investment costs probably thrice as much, but you can sell generic blank masks to people now at a much lower cost than FRP and recover the costs in no time at all.

Kigurumi themselves don't arouse me, but the thought of being in a suit like that is super interesting for a lot of other special interest reasons.

I thought they looked really weird a lot of the time, but then I started seeing really interesting ones like >>11638651, or the one eyed one, or some others that were less "costumey" and more like 3d versions of 2d, and my interest spiked.
I just really don't like the "classic" sort of facial shape(ala 80's anime) a lot of them use, but I've grown to tolerate those in search of the more interesting and visually impressive ones.

I don't give a single shit about who's in them though, and I don't like lewd ones. I just see it as another form of cosplay, but with a lot more ability to be in character (no matter what you look like, within reason) and a lot less ego.

I also really like the doll aesthetic, which I guess was inevitably going to draw me to kigu.

As a side note, does anyone know of any ball-joint suits, or leggings and gloves? I think it'd be really fun to incorporate into fashion.

Here are some pictures showing my changes. I softened the cheeks as well as the areas on the inside and outside of the eyes. I also made the sides of the nose slightly concave and adjusted the shape of the nose bridge.

To answer you: can you notice the face is too flat? It needs a bit of angling. Also cheeks are soft enough but too low, maybe you need to bring them up a bit. Notice the lightning in those profile pics.

You need to soft the areas next to the eye cavity and make them blend more. Adjusting the surface area to put the eyes in a non flat manner might do the trick. (Again, observe the eyes in those pictures).

Also, bring the jaw and the nose to the front a bit, maintaining the chin parallel to where it is (see Nuko masks as reference, but don't make it too cheeky or it'll look like a baby and not mature), so you have more room to work on the cheeks.

Cheeks are the trickiest part and it's purely trial and error. They are too low now and are like a big rectangle instead of a soft area (usually some sort of triangle) where the lines of the eye cavity and jaw join themselves.

My opinion, you should listen to more people rather than just me.

Maybe I should just wait until more people have bought masks from me, and let them recommend me. However, people who are new to kig are often not going to know about me because I'm still not as well-known as many other makers.

And it's not like I'm claiming to be the best mask maker in the world (I have said I can make custom masks cheaper than anyone using traditional processes, but I wouldn't consider that to be the same as claiming to be the best in the world). I've admitted many times that I can improve a lot, and have asked for constructive criticism quite a bit.

Yeah, cheeks seem to be one of the hardest parts, especially because it's not always possible to see their shape on photos (it would sometimes be helpful if I had a mask from another maker in front of me).

the main piece of advice id give is that the bottom lip seems to protrude more than the top lip giving it a bit of dumb look,

my main other issue is the way the mouth sort of curves into a point in the middle of the lips? it might just be the lighting but its the same issue wyus T-FA (i think that what its called) mask suffers from, its that ridge that goes down the whole mask for some reason, if you look at most masks they don't have ridge in between the nose and the chin(i think you could make the nose ridge slightly less of a drastic incline as well) but these are minor details

oh and another thing ive noticed thats really throwing it off is that the forehead doesnt curve out again after the eyes much, i think rinirin said this a long time ago but proportion wise the top of the forehead should be in line with the chin, so increase the forehead depth towards you a bit

tl;dr make lips less angular and top one more proportioned, get rid of the ridge going from the nose to the chin, increase the forehead depth towards you

(and maybe make the chin slightly less sharp or move it up a bit?)
