Saw this came out in English the other day. Was S2 any better than the first one? Never got around to reading that one either, but I loved both WTCs so if this improves on the first (which I heard was just OK) I'll be picking this up soon.

Currently playing S2 at the moment.

It's pretty enjoyable.
S1 was fun once you passed the midpoint where the VN notices that everything has been a great and dangly and just casually fucks everyone.

S2 is off to a slow start and a weak beginning but once it kicks off the part it needs to cover, it gets fun again when the trio just fuck around with people.

I would say it's on the same level as S1, maybe a bit better.

It's not as great as WtC, obviously, but still a nice read.

fyi the rest of Season 2 really sucks. The buildup doesn't deliver at all. It's the Season 3 part of Season 3 where Ryu starts to pick up his writing.

Oretsuba was pretty rushed and ended up extremely unfinished but a lot of people consider it pretty perfect. I think Ryukishi just isn't the best writer.
