As far as random spin-offs go, Prisma Illya is good. As far as Type-Moon material, it's a hell of a lot better than 90% of Carnival Phantasm. And it's not a huge wankfest like fate/zero is.

It has the added benefit of Ruby and Sapphire being Naoko Takano and Miyu Matsuki, which makes it psycho genki as fuck, measured with cooling loveliness.

My main displeasure is that the anime isn't as good as the manga, but that's largely due to nothing topping how I viewed what was happening in the manga in comparison to the anime. Voices make up for it.

Considering the fact that they've decided to remove the H-scenes, which were integral and key development points in the story, and most lily replace with workaround garbage, or worse, not do them at all, for the sake of them tying to get he kiddie audience (Even though previous TM works have pretty much pointed towards not being kid friendly in the slightest.) and they've killed Arc off to look like a saber clone who is somehow in tune with modern fashion trend (Even though this story takes place early or pre 2000's) when she has stated to be not entirely accurate with trends and such because she only reads them in books, not to mention going against his word on changing Arc in an interview, and actually going forward with Apocrytha, it's pretty clear to me Type-moon is dead, and this is the carcass it has become, good music and OST for games be dammed.

In addition to this, During battle scenes, it's pretty clear with such short clothing she'll get all nice and reveal, which enforces my point about Arc begin toned down, she doesn't look anything like a princess in the slightest, and the idiotic notion that Shiki perceives her as such when she looks like this now just shows us how much TM works has become a pandering company towards the lowest thick-headed Moe garbage depressed bottom-feeders of it's fanbase.
