That's not even a fight. It looks like two girls are launching fireworks and throwing confetti. A person who doesn't know anything about touhou would not even understand that girls are supposed to dodge those glowing things.

Hey it's like you didn't even watch it. All of the MMD dogfights are like that.

The other MMD videos like the ones you posted, the cirno version, the reimu vs remilia, and another marisa vs flandre by a different guy are always 3d translations of the games with the players one-sidedly dodging spells and then winning with just a few shots while the boss enemy uses spellcard patterns with large 3d safe spots. I'd say only the cirno one has a bit better variation. Besides, the character models are ugly.

The Marisa vs Flandre I chose has a pretty Flandre model, has Marisa use spellcards/special moves of her own from across several different games, has both players pretty evenly matched, throws in that stuck wing scenes for even more variation, and has prettier colors all around. Besides, I'm tired of watching Reimu dogfights where she runs around danmaku patterns like they were useless before shooting a few homing amulets and then winning, a trend in MMD dogfight videos your okuu video started. The Yukari video is good for the same reason; Reimu or Marisa doesn't even win, there are lots of different spellcards and strategies, dodging danmaku is a means to an end rather than the end itself, etc.

What? Reimu actually got hit multiple times during the fight with Okuu, she looked totaly exausted at the end of the fight. At the same time Marisa wasn't scratched by a single bullet. It didn't even look like she was dodging anything except for that Laevateinn attack. They were just flying aimlessly and shooting glowing bullets. I prefer something well animated. That Nissin commercial video's animation is superb.

I also like that Advent Cirno one, Burning Meiling series, and Komorigasa Tatara is also pretty good MMD drama.
