i mean, I enjoy visual novels. I like reading them, and the stories involved.

But the thing is, I don't get why Ever17 gets as much praise as it does. I didn't think it was all that spectacular.

It's the same with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and the new Batman movie. People hark them as the greatest things ever, but I thought they were simply decent and enjoyable.

I liked Muv-Luv a lot, even though I usually hate mecha shit. T^he writing was nice an over the three episodes I got attached to the characters. Also loved Wanko to kurasou.

I'm not going around telling people they need to fucking play it because its the best thing ever, I liked them but I know not everyone would. I woudl reccomend them if someone asked while saying they like the ganre those two are in.

And, I'm not saying Ever17 is bad... It's good. It's just not THAT amazing. Hearing people talk about it, I expected bricks to be shat in C oco's route but just ended saying "Wut? That's all?". I kinda liked the Sora/Tsugumi Bad end better. But that's just me.
