I finally got around to finishing the chusingura trial. It ended up being a lot longer than I expected it to be, but that might just be because I'm a pretty slow reader in general. It covered the first of first of I think three chapters, so I have a feeling it's going to end up being pretty long. Also, I'm not sure why I wasn't expecting there to be some sort of time loop thing in this game.

Does anyone else think Ayakashibito might've just been a fluke? Nothing Higashide's written is nearly as gripping as Ayakashibito was. Evolimit was decent but not even close to Ayakashibito, Bullet Butlers I don't even feel like finishing even though I need to since I want play the crossover fandisc.

I liked all his works, but Ayakashibito is clearly his magnum opus. Characters, interactions, setting, action, it's all just better. Also one of my favorite protagonists despite being a peacelover, weakling and pretty reserved. I don't know how it happened, these aren't normally my types of protags at all.

Finished sona-nyl.
Turns out, if you actually sit down and read instead of getting distracted all the time a steampunk game doesn't take a whole month to finish. Who could've thought?
It also felt a bit shorter than the others, though, and a whole lot weirder. Still, I really enjoyed it, especially the soundtrack was great once again, after valusia had let me down just a little bit.
It's probably even competing with inganock for my favorite title so far, maybe it's just because those two are so similar in theme, though.

But honestly the action in this series isn't well-suited to the visual novel medium, the disparity in scale and rapid movement will be hard to convey with sprites.

I'd say it's more due to less superfluous chapters that really add nothing to it. Every chapter in Sona nyl had new, relevant information or character development and almost every chapter in gakhtun did too. Inganock, Sharnoth and Valusia to a lesser extent all had those chapters that just made you think that could be removed without losing anything at all from the novel.

Guys i'm little confused with tsuyokiss,please help me a little.i wanted to play entire game so installed tsuyokiss - 2gakki and 3gakki.Then saw the new Full Edition thing,it seems like they collected everything and added to this game with improved graphics & extra cgs etc so i decided that playing full edition would better and installed this too. but when i was about the start,i read that Tonfa and Inori route got cut off from the original Tsuyokiss 3 so pretty fucked up now.

in the end should i just play full edition and go back tsuyokiss 3 for inori and tonfa routes,or playing old ones is a better choice? also i'd like to know if they cut anything more than tonfa and inori routes,if somebody can help me it would be great.

Hate to bother you VN general, but i've been having a probably stupid problem. Whenever I attempt to play shin koihime musou, all of the kanji stary from the line and clip into each other, which makes it even more difficult for me to read than just not knowing some kanji. It does the same with shin koihime musou moeshouden. I would think it is because i'm missing the particular font that this vn uses, in which case, is there a certain font that is commonly used between most VNs, or am i way off?

Just finished the main heroine route and a couple of the side-character routes and it's pretty good. Just felt a little too dragged out at times, but they wrapped up the ending quite nicely.

A, B, C routes are great. D becomes sort of redundant after reading C, since all the twists for D are already explained. Made doubly frustrating since you can't complete D without getting C's good end first.
E is a pretty good "finale" and I would have been completely satisfied if the game had ended right there.

After those it goes downhill fast. C' and D' feel like needlessly long extras, though they do explain some minor questions (which you probably guessed anyways). A' and B' are plain retarded. E' caused me physical pain, had me smashing my face on the keyboard and left a terrible aftertaste.

It wasn't that bad but frankly the various mysterious bit that was shown during the prologue of Harukuru felt a lot more interesting than what was shown in Natsuyuru so far.
The ending of the trial does show that it will go in some pretty fucked up directions but I already have a good idea of what the big twist is, I may be wrong of course.
