You're right, she's not a satori, but it's effectively the same result. I believe what Akyuu is trying to say is that if someone was to try and make it hard for Miko to read them, it would make it harder for her, but she would still get it.

Miko isn't strong through force or strength, in fact I would say she's a perfect foil to her rival in that her ability implies she would operate with a grand strategy in mind, taking into account all the desires of everyone in Gensokyo. Much on the same vein as Yukari or Kanako.

Remilia's ability to control fate is probably limited to changing the roll of a dice in midair by about 1 degree.

Considering:

And her red mist just makes it a tiny bit darker than usual, as you can still see when outside in TH06. A sun that is not super far away would still rape her.

From all the 6th level bosses, the only one that has an actual crippling weakness is Okuu (that being "is birdbrained"). Everybody else in that list can pull so much bullshit if things actually go down that's pretty much useless to try and rank them into a power list.

That being said, Eiki should still be invincible at the top, and it's very hard to imagine anything defeating Kaguya if she's really motivated to win.

So, this is my useless power list:

Also, think of the motivations for what everyone does. Out of all of them, Remilia's motivation for her incident is that she considers the Sun to be a nuisance. Not that it is a particular danger to her, just that it's annoying. So she makes red mist.

Her incident is because she's bored.

When you're so strong that you do something because you're bored, what worries do you have?

It's hard to believe that Remilia didn't want to lose in TH6. What would be her endgame if she defeated the heroines? Gensokyo would be actually in serious peril because the crops start to die without the Sun and then the "powerful youkai" that defeated her during the vampire incident would appear for a serious talk.

It makes more sense that the scarlet mist incident was Remilia's way to make herself known (and kind of feared) by the humans.

TH6: Remilia decides to test the spellcard rules and let her house to be known.
TH7: Yukari lets Yuyuko follow one of her whims (after the vampire proved that spellcards are safe for consumption)
TH7.5: Suika comes to play.
TH8: Eirin decides to reveal Eientei and flex her magical muscles at the same time.
TH9: 60 years' cycle. Since Gensokyo is full of hotshots after spellcards proved to be a fun way to resolve conflicts, a major brawl ensues.
TH10: Kanako and Suwako learn about Gensokyo's current peaceful situation and decide that that's a good place to live and raise a girl. They move in, being needlessly troublesome because they if they were paying attention, they'd have figured that "causing an incident" is how you say hello in Gensokyo.
TH10.5: Tenshi comes to play.
TH11: One of Kanako's schemes goes awry.
TH12: That Kanako's scheme ends freeing Byakuren's followers.
TH13: Byakuren's return ends awakening Miko

TH6, 7, 7.5, 8, 10 and 10.5 were done on purpose. 9, 11, 12 and 13 were actual accidents.

My understanding about Eirin is that she's among the strongest magicians in that entire setting. So she could be crazy prepared and stuff, but at the same time, she should also have a frail and womanly body. This could let her open to be sucker punched by things that move in the blink of an eye and hit like trains, like Remilia or Byakuren.

Kaguya is in a class by herself because she can't actually lose: she always returns. And "control over the instantaneous and the eternal" sounds pretty freaking strong.

First she cannot hunt people for food (she blows them without a single drop of blood left), second she cannot make friends and have a normal social life (something that her Sister, Remilia, truly enjoys). Since we travelled to the past we know everything about Flan's life from the present. Basically we know Flan's future for the next 495 years - she will never leave the mansion or make friends, she still won't be able to control her powers. That is her pathetic and boring FATE for the next 495 years. If Remilia is so cool and can manipulate the fate, why didn't she change it for her sister 495 years ago?
