I was a little surprised how much I found myself enjoying the first two episodes. I have long since considered the manga to be "mediocre" at absolute best.

The anime, which so far appears to be following the story 100%, was ridiculously entertaining, for what it is.

Special Eotena become whatever they need to be to accomplish the task. If they built the walls higher, the eoten would just be taller. If they built the wall thicker, the eoten would have crystaline claws to dig through.
