I think Ryukishi07 should have just ended Higurashi no Naku Koro ni‎ at the 7th game and left the plot open-ended. Fans would have had fun with making fanfics of the final world. At least those would've been better than the pile of shit R07 came up with.

Akasaka defeating an armed counterintelligence force with the POWER OF KARATE takes the cafe for being the worst scene in Matsuribayashi.
