Yokai roam Japan. You either can find them on the edge of humanity in rural areas or if you're lucky enough to be born with second or third sight you will see them unlike normal humans. There was once a time when man and all yokai could see one another, but are second sight was lost to the majority of our race. There are still those who can see or encounter them. It is only in modern times where man has shielded his eyes in ignorant arrogance saying they do not exist for his own comfort in not understanding the unknown as if to flee from his fear.
