Like what? I'm only just now getting into Nogizaka, and at least in the first half of tte Doko, she's just fine. Again, quite stoic, but there are more stoic members in the group, like Seira, who I like a lot as well.

What's the definition of being someone's oshi? I never understand why some people have Yuko as their oshimen. My definition of an oshi is to support a member, but to be honest, Yuko is so strong and powerful that how can someone lowly like me support her when she is a greater human being than I will ever be? That is because Acchan is flawed compared to Yuko. Acchan is the definition of someone that appears strong, but is weak and fragile. She is someone that I can support because she needs the support.

I'd imagine the top 4 would stay the same, with sasshi maaaaaybe overtaking yukirin. I'm pretty much basing this only on the fact that soredemo sukidayo cut in to her votes last year and she seems to have gotten more popular despite her scandal (hard to tell though).

Has Tomochin officially taken her name out of the election? I could see her getting in due to this being her last year. Even if she hasn't I think the Kami 7 should be the same this year with Jurina having the only chance to break in, probably at the expense of Kojiharu - but kojiharu always seems to squeak in at the last moment.

We can definitely take out Kasai and Minegishi, and I think Kitarie's reality show lost her some fans. Umechan making senbatsu was nice but I don't see it happening again. So that's (assuming it's another 16 member senbatsu, which it probably won't be) four open spots.

I'm willing to bet those will be filled by Sayanee, Milky, Paruru, and one of either Yuria/Sakura/and maybe Sayaka. Of course last year I thought Yukirin would overtake Yuko so I'm retarded.

She's center, obviously, but Hoshino has got some major solo jobs from the management (solo cm, that promotion thing with the male model) that make some people consider her "the most pushed". I suppose there's also a certain contrast to her utter lack popularity. Though Ikoma isn't consensus center, her push is also considered less unjustified since she's still around 6th/7th in popularity. To contrast, Hoshino only made it to the Parco stage once, then barely, and her handshake popularity is around 18th-20th. Manatsu, after a couple of months in the group, is way ahead of her (7 vs. 1 slots sold out for 4th single). After one year of Hoshimina at the very front of the group, her popularity is in the lower half of the group.

And for my personal opinion, at least Ikoma tries very hard and appreciates her position visibly, even though she isn't my preferred center and all that.

It's not about being stoic. I have no preference against stoic girls, and you can be stoic but grateful to your fans, say interesting things, have funny hobbies etc., like either of the Seiras you could be talking about.

Just as an example, one story I read was written by someone whose oshi she was before this and other stuff happened at handshakes; she was basically not responding at all in a handshake event, so he asked if she's fine, she says she's "always like this outside of work", a bit disappointed she notes that she is at work to which she just answers "ah"...

About Tomato, I think it's because of her voice. Her voice has a slight lisp to it that makes it pleasant to the ears. You can hear it(as well as look at her, she quite cute) in the Nogizaka Romance episodes that feature her. That, plus her catchy Fresh Lemon-like Yamatomato catchphrase.

For Hatanaka, at first I didn't really notice her, but after her bravery in the 5th senbatsu announcement I've started noticing how she really gives it her all when rewatching the older episodes(like in ep48 and 50).

Oh, and congrats. I'd started from ep43 or so, and it took me around three weeks to watch all the older episodes.
