Today I had a bad dream at 1 pm. I dream about two lolis I was playing with videogames, from some anime but I don't remember which. They began to wrap around my arms and both of them to get over me and my chest hurt because they were crushing me, fuck, I woke up with the sensation of pressure on my chest and I thought I was having a heart attack.

One of the most recurring themes of the Towelket is the invasion of aliens in our world, and usually they tend to make experiences with humans or in general mess up with the world that ends up creating messed up creatures filled with gore. The most "depressive" game of the series ends up with the two main characters marrying each other, the initial city being flooded with blood coming from the belly of one of the thousands of clones of one of the main characters that was cloned countless times, and almost everyone being completely screwed up. Also, the prologue of the game starts with a famous character of the game being murdered by birds.

Again, it's fine. I think a dreams thread belongs somewhere else, (probably /r9k/, /x/, /adv/ or /soc/) but I think it's cool that OP and co. want to share their dreams with /jp/. Maybe we'll get some interesting insight into the minds of /jp/ers.

Well, existing non-polynomial algorithms are no use in questions like this - except you know all possible algorithms. I think it's in NP because you can check in P if given factors are primes and if the product is equal to the input integer. But a problem being NP-complete means you can reduce to to any other problem in NP in polynomial time (these problems are "the hardest" NP problems - but this makes only sense if P≠NP).
But I just heard a very short reading about P/NP, so i don't understand NP well enough.

>Well, existing non-polynomial algorithms are no use in questions like this - except you know all possible algorithms.
I think I misunderstood you, but as long as the algorithm is subexponential, it is NP. NP can be reduced to NPC in a polynomial time. And if I can prove that NP-complete problems can in fact be reduced to P-problems, I can then reduce said NPC problem to P.

My last dream involved some woman telling me a plotline to some movie idea she had about a guy who invented a way to travel through time using by playing music from CDs. The plot involved the guy wanting to use a CD with futuristic music to travel to the future, but instead they got a CD with music that sent him to the 60-70ish era into some setup about him being a black boxer.(with a small afro and everything) From there, he ends up getting back (or maybe directly sent) into a wild west set up where they're exploring some mine, and then they find some alien spaceship and the alien has some alien futuristic music CD so they guy gets to travel with it to the future, presumably to fight the aliens, or hang out with them or something.

Roughly 3 or 4 nights a week for the past 5 years, I've had trouble waking up from my dreams.
I wouldn't say my dreams are particularly more interesting or vivid than what anyone else has, but I become so mentally involved in what's going on that I'll end up sleeping an extra couple of hours, going about my "business" in the dream, not realizing it isn't real.
For the first 2 or so years it was mostly nightmares; someone had broken into my house, my parents had died, being chased by someone, etc. As time went on it became less scary and more strange. Riding out a nuclear holocaust in an abandoned zoo, wandering empty streets at night, cooking with homocidal versions of people I know. At first I thought it was cool to experience these "worlds" and do things I wouldn't normally do, but the dreams all had a sinking feeling of dread and emptiness. People I know and care about weren't themselves. The places I grew up in and think of fondly in my waking hours were empty and had weird memories tied to them that I know didn't happen. Ghosts, murders, sex, demons. It wasn't so much frightening as it was disturbing.
Things have mellowed out a bit lately, but I still have trouble waking up. Strange situations consume too much time and mental energy in place of the things I need to do. Every morning is a relief that none of what had happened is reality.

The Wolf RPG Editor and other alternative versions of RPG Maker utilize this. Most people choose to encrypt their work to disable people from editing it. Doing this will embed all of the MPS files and other data into one single data file called Data.wolf(Wolf RPG Editor) and is uneditable unless you crack the default XOR encryption that goes with RM.

I'm not knowledgable around hex editors and whatnot, so I have no idea how to go past it.

Then we started seeing all of these christian religious crosses on a bunch of places built into the walls. I for some reason decided to go in some and they were all dark and scary but nothing was happening in them with some people sitting down not paying attention to us. They all looked a little unique. Then the final one I went in had like a movie theater set up with a non-moving picture of some giant, almost silly looking beast like thing on the screen that was making noise that sounded similar to "ROOOWOO ROOOWOO" over and over again in this really loud, low quality audio that sounded like something you would hear out of an old pc/dos game that tried to add real sounds to the game. I sat next to some old woman I believe that was in black clothing who also payed no attention to me and then the person I was with told me to go. So I went up some stairs into an inner area where things attacked us but we fought them off easily. It was like a setting you would find in a castlevania game. Then I entered a giant pink room and turned into a floating circle. There was some other beings floating around in there and some quiet ambient music playing in there. Didn't know what to do. Then everything went silence and a voice said something like "because you (something something something) you (something something something)" and then everything turned black and started attacking me. It ended with me locked behind a door with things like "god loves you!" and other assorted things of that nature being written in red on the walls and said as other stuff happened.

I feel asleep at 6 am and I dreamed a tornado blew my house down and I had to get a job. I worked hard and then had a heart attack and died. Then I woke up in the comfort of my room and saw it was still 6 am. I must have slept for 24 hours straight. I was so confused.

My dreams have been pretty... lame lately, to be honest. I used to have these fantastic, extremely detailed dreams where I could feel and hear and all those senses worked, which I had no problem remembering (and can still remember most of them), but now I've just been having shitty incoherent dreams with nothing exciting in them. I'm really hating it and miss having exciting dreams and I don't know if there's anything I can do about it ;_;

That's the thing, I started having those dreams a little while after becoming NEET and had them really frequently over the following three and a half years, but I was forced into college and haven't had a decent dream since September. I've been having trouble falling and staying sleeping since then too, maybe it's the stress and sudden lifestyle changes and all.

Yeah, they tend to do that a lot. It's the one effect of taking antidepressants that I enjoyed thoroughly. They also allowed me to retain memories of dreams in my memory for hours after waking up.

It's been months since I last took them, though. These days I forget about my dreams completely minutes after I wake up. So no dream stories for now.

I kinda want to do like that druggie anon said earlier in this thread, and play Yume Nikki while tripping. Not that I necessarily share their belief as to if that's how those games are meant to be experienced. But maybe that could make the curious voyage curiouser. Though I already know how to navigate the dreamscapes, more or less.

I practiced lucid dreaming several years ago. I'm not a natural, but the idea interested me. I thought it would be the key to waifu interaction, and it might certainly be, but I never got very good at it.

I started taking 100mg of Vistaril with 30mg of Remeron a few years later and, although at first I had very bizarre and intense dreams, that soon gave way to just plain old coma-like sleep with any dreams I did have falling to the bottom of my subconscious like sand in a swimming pool.

I wish I could say I traded vivid dreams for deep and restful sleep, but I can't. I still have a hard time falling asleep and I wake up several times a night.

Late response, I suppose, but she's a classmate of mine. One day, we both agreed to work on a presentation for a class together. As we were working on it, we began talking, and we just kept talking until she had class, about 4 or 5 hours later. We decided to start hanging out, and one night we got a little drunk together, and she asked if it was okay if I slept over, and she offered to share her bed with me. After that, it's just become something we like to do.

Got scabies from one of my roommate's nasty house guests a few weeks ago.
Had to put my comforter in a trash bag because it didn't fit in the washer.
Been sleeping in the afternoon because it is too cold to sleep at night(below 40F).
Roommate will drive me to the laundromat over the weekend if I get up before noon which is almost impossible (I slept in until 7:30 PM today)

What should I do, /jp/?

I napped on the upstairs couch on Friday and according to my roommates when I laugh while lucid dreaming I laugh in real life. Very embarrassing.

Er, no. She doesn't. We've actually talked about it. We're just two kind of strange people who happen to like sleeping together. Our relationship is entirely platonic, and I wouldn't have it any other way. A relationship together wouldn't work at all anyway. I've noticed that the only times I've managed to not wake up I've been fairly tired and have slept for about 6 hours prior to the attempt. If I'm too aware of what's going on I tend to get a bit worried, my heart starts beating really fast, and I wake up. It's really hard to hold on to when you get into the dream though. I played Yume Nikki under the influence of marijuana (quite heavily at that), and it was a profoundly different experience. Whatever cognitive function causes me to "map out" the game and explore in a logical manner sort of just dropped out and I felt as if I really was just aimlessly wandering small parts of the same dream. Then we were in some sort of a library trying to guesslate a comic with all the 日本語 knowledge we had. It didn't work well, but it was very fun since we did it together and some of the lines we guessed sounded too ridiculous and funny. Then I realized I didn't have a /jp/ friend or any friend whatsoever.

I took a nap today and awoke temporarily. Once I closed my eyes again I saw an anime-like girl spinning and dancing in front of me. She first appeared as a glowing figure but when I centered my closed eyes on her, she became full of color. She had long green hair, golden eyes and, I think, an orange dress. I got very excited when I saw her and couldn't keep my eyes closed for more than two seconds and she disappeared as soon as I opened them. Seconds later, I closed my eyes again to reaffirm what I had witnessed and, again, I saw a glowing figure which I followed with shut eyes. It was her, but this time, she was slowly walking towards me, and a film of her doing various poses played behind her as she walked sideways. I couldn't keep from getting excited and my eyes bolted open again after only a few seconds. I shut my eyes and tried again but at that point I was too excited and awake to be in a lucid state.

I usually wake up a couple times during sleep, so I'm going to try to see her again tonight when I'm only half-awake. If this thread is still here and I see her again, I'll be sure to make an update.

Well, I'm now up to 88 Touhou dreams as of today.

Other than that, I had a bunch of muv luv related dreams during the entirety of last week. They were pretty fun.

One in particular was about finding Marimo in this abandoned military facility in a larger locker attached to a wall. When I opened it, I found her wearing an armored suit, slumped down in the bottom of it, and I bent down and picked her up. Her arms/hands were very cold, and I kept thinking "No, no, no no. This can't be happening".

I then pressed my ear against her giant chest, listening for her heartbeat, but there was none. I almost started crying right then, but she suddenly opened her eyes and smiled at me. I couldn't have been more happy at that very instant.

We hugged and cuddled each other for about a minute, before I decided it would be cool to "pause the game" and "revert to last checkpoint" using my "controller", which brought me back a few moments before I discovered Marimo in the locker.

Already knowing that she was alive and well, I opened the locker again, picked her up, sat myself down on the ground and placed her in my lap, and I could feel her weight on me. I wasted no time cuddling her and putting my face between her breasts.

When she woke up, she was kind of flustered, but then some other random people in armored suits walked up to us and we started talking to them. It ended right around there.
