Here we can discuss Comiket's new (or old) games without without being disturbed by discussion of music, manga, or other comiket related matters not related to games.

Quite a few games seems have managed to hit the net by now, but there is still a long way to go.

Also, 4chan's new file-size and anti sound-embed policies gave a false positive on the opening image. Had to edit it in order to post it.

The bomberman that came out in 83

I beat it and it was pretty easy, but holy shit was it annoying. If one of your pixel touched the fire, you lost a life. You would sit behind a block to avoid the fire but nope, a pixel touched you and you lose a life.

The walking felt awkward too. I really did enjoy it though, and I plan on making one similar to it once I learn a bit more coding. Sounds like a fun project to get some experience on.

Uploader here. Where does the game crash exactly ? I could finish the battle against Cirno with no problem and the game doesn't crash at the start of the following battle either. I installed every patch one by one in order before starting the game, I don't know if it matters.

Otherwise it's either because of different settings (I disabled animations for instance), corrupted download (very unlikely) or just some incompatibility with your system I suppose (I'm using Windows 8 with Japanese locale). I can upload my save file right at the start of the next battle if you want to try that as well. (However, the game seems stuck if I try to use the 黒曜石 item).

On an unrelated note, the BlueMica Code:R game was nowhere to be found in Akiba. Leave a message if you see it pop up on one of the shops' websites and I'll go grab it.

The game would've been easier if I realized just how well Alice scales with DEX and bows. I made her a mage and her damage isn't nearly as high as Nitori's... and Nitori's DEX scaling is not nearly as good. Regardless, Sakuya is carrying me through.

Anyways (from memory):
-Go south to village; go to shop with a star; speak to Marisa.
-Go to house on the right; speak with Keine.
-Reimu solo first dungeon (directly north east of village). Be careful of blue skeleton; he will one-hit you and is stronger than the boss. Buy VIT accessories to help reduce enemy physical damage as well as give you 8 more HP.
-Go back to speak to Keine.
-Go back to Alice's house and speak to Alice: party member get.
-Head into dungeon east of first dungeon (before bridge). Go as far east as you can to meet Nitori; party member get. She scales great with bows and heavy artillery. You can get guns without attack speed penalties later.
-With 3 member party; head all the way east. Go through cavern.
-Ignore mountain to the north (Tenshi's there; get her later).
-Go east from new village until you reach the SDM. Fight and defeat China; party member get. She has ナックルマステリー (knuckle mastery). This makes her strength give +10% more attack per point up to +100% (2 damage per strength). This makes her a very powerful early-game damage dealer; scales off since she needs STR as well as AGI to deal damage. She also has several buffs, mediocre healing, and very high HP scaling.
-Go back to the mountain; defeat and get Tenshi. She has shield mastery as well as stone body, making her the tankiest unit against physical damage. She gets a 500% ATK scaling move which hits once, so stacking STR on her may better than getting 40AGI to give her 5 attacks/turn. She also has sword mastery, and the game gives you quite a few elemental swords which makes her a decent damage dealer as well as tanky in frontline if you have the patience to equip her with proper swords for your area.

-Forgot to mention that you have to go inside the mansion to speak to Remilia before Meiling joins you. She's on the east side downstairs in the first room directly north from the stairs. Plot happens here.
-You can recruit Yuyuko now (or after Mithril cave, can't remember). She is located in the netherworld which can be reached by climbing a tower directly south of the town west of SDM. She has soul mastery which increases damage of her soul spells. She can also equip 2-handed cursed swords which can be very powerful, but she does not have the HP (one of lowest HP scaling in game) to be in the frontline, making this a null point especially since she can't equip shields with those swords.
-Head to the Mithril Caves; they're at the far south then west from the village. You can get a lot of mithril equipment here if you look around; ultimately, you will defeat a boss which will then unlock a mithril equipment shop in the SDM. Talk to Remilia after beating this dungeon.
-Note: Be sure to always carry テレポ-ーター (Teleporter) with you to leave dungeons instantly (Mithril Cave is a long walk backwards with no healing other than items/Reimu)
-After talking to Remilia and unlocking the Mithril shop, plot will happen.
-Head back to the human village, more plot.
-Head to the bamboo forest (south-west of village west of SDM). You can recruit Mokou. She has regeneration passive which heals her up to 30 per turn depending on how many points you put into it. She also has good fire spells in both physical and magic variety as well as fire mastery to boost their damage. She can be a backline mage or frontline fighter/mage. Depends on whether you give her AGI or INT. Benefit of specing her into strength is also that you'll have other elements from weapons since she only learns fire magic.
-You can now enter the dungeon south east of the SDM which was blocked by ice before.

-Beat entire dungeon; plot will happen.
-Go back to SDM, talk to Remilia; plot will happen.
-Sakuya party get; she's an assassin with high evasion, agility, and hit rate but very low HP. She has knife mastery and katar mastery as well as two evasion masteries, one of which also boosts hit rate and critical rate. Like Yuyuko, you must give her HP accessories unless you enjoy seeing her one-shot by random encounters or boss AoE since melee weapons deal half damage in the back row.
-You can now progress past the guard in the dungeon north east of the SDM.
-Pass the dungeon and then head west to a port town.
-You can recruit Murasa here, she has axe mastery as well as aqua mastery. Axe weapons are generally two-handed but have high attack. Some come with attack speed penalties, like guns. Her HP scaling is very good, so she doesn't need shields to survive making axes decent. Some choose to swap out Meiling for Murasa, but that's completely up to choice (some people even run Mokou over either of them due to her regeneration mastery).
-Head north, there's two dungeons to do here. Look around because there's a lot of good aqua equipment here. Complete both, plot will happen. YOU GET A BOAT.
-RIDE THE SEAS and head north past a rocky island until you reach a new village. This town sells very good equipment upgrades from mithril. Buy, sell, and equip your party.
-Head north, you can ignore the desert town.
-Keep heading north then go east until you reach a dungeon.
-Go through the dungeon, you'll find several good items here. You'll descend down all the way to hell; talk to Satori- party member get.
-You can now do a dungeon directly south east of her throne to get a lot of good fire equipment from chests including two extremely powerful katar for Sakuya.
-With Satori in the party, you can now leave the dungeon and head west from that dungeon to a mountain.
-Climb the mountain; defeat the boss; plot will happen.

-Go through this forest dungeon and speak to the people at the end; plot will happen.
-You can head back to the mountain west of hell and get a key item from the top of it.
-You can fight Yuka south east of the port town where you got your boat.
-I have no idea where to go from here

There were some areas that you couldn't go past in Kappa's Valley and Hakugyokurou. I doubt they're important, but it might be worth checking out again.

I've been holding onto most of my skill/stat points mostly because I have no idea what to put them into. I dumped 10~ points into Reimu's heal, but that's about it. Should I be focusing more on passive skills like masteries, or active skills like Tenshi's 500% physical damage skill? I might help if I could read Japanese, rather than copy-paste everything into Google Translate...

Also, do you have any tips for the boss in the Mithril cave? The last time I tried fighting him, he completely wrecked me with his 60+ damage AoE attack. I don't know if I should level up Reimu's barrier spell and Meiling's defender spell, or if I should try equipping my entire party with rosaries so I can get some MDEF against him. Alice was doing 20~ damage with her fire spell and the rest of my party barely scratched him. Yukari was easy compared to him.

>> No.10390695

>>10390322
Masteries are important, but you don't want to take them all just the ones you use. Then left over points on main skill you use (if any). You don't get new masteries on level up, so they're the safest things that scale across everything.

Reimu's masteries aren't useful in the backrow. Her ワイドヒル (wide heal) and オバヒル (over heal) are pretty important. Wide heal helps since most bosses and some random encounters have AoE; and overheal just in case you need a high burst heal.

Alice's magic mastery is very important if you're making her a mage and her marionette mastery is important if you're making her a ranged attacker with Doll Stab.

Magic damage is reduced by INT as well as MDEF; physical damage is reduced by VIT as well as DEF. I'm pretty sure the boss of the Mithril Cave uses an AoE physical skill. Wide Heal is generally enough to sustain the entire party if he does that.

I believe he's weak to cold bolt (コルドボルト) from Alice. That should be dealing like 80 to him with maxed out magic mastery. Your front line won't deal much damage to his high DEF and VIT, so you might as well have them defend.

Stat points are generally best spent on agility or INT depending on if they're casters or physical attackers. Some exceptions like Tenshi are arguably best with strength since her 500% scaling ability only hits once. Every 10 points of agility gives one more attack per turn.

Oh damn, that's the same circle as east chemblem.

Just a heads up: They're pretty aggressive when it comes to sending DMCA takedown notices. I'm guessing that's why the account got suspended. I don't recommend anyone try to reupload that to an account unless they don't mind losing it.

I can also upload it to Share, if the original poster is fine with that, which they definitely can't do anything about

>> No.10401301

>>10401285
Yes that's the guy who sent the DMCA notice and got the account suspended (3 parts so three notices and everything is gone). That's also why ひなのふわふわドリーム and Akashicverse got deleted.

Feel free to reupload (why would I care in the first place ?) but I'm not sure Share is the best place, you'd mainly reach a Japanese audience which could buy/order the game whenever they want. Mainly that's just me being naive, but I figured a link on /jp/ would bring free attention to the game at no real cost for the company.

>> No.10401318

>>10401301
The advantage of Share is that you can't send a DMCA takedown notification. Any filehost it's added to will get shutdown eventually, unless you butcher the filename to the point where you can't search for it in the future. /jp/ doesn't really have an equivalent to Share that could avoid the takedown notices either.

Share is a primarily japanese audience, yes, but there are other English speaking anons other than myself that use Share. If nothing else, having a quick backup on Share would make it easier for other people to upload temporary copies to filehosts.

Plus, if nothing else, I like the idea of giving back to the Japanese that provide us with the vast majority of comiket and other content. That's just me, though.

As in, nobody plays it anymore? Maybe it's for the better. I mean, isn't it kind of like Modern Warfare, or Black Ops, of bullet hells? Tons of crazy stuff goes down without apparent reason or explanation. There's a fucking QTE in the final stage. You don't dodge the bullets as much as erase them with overpowered attacks. There are no replays or even a music player. Hell, the circle released the game without even making a story for the lolis. All graphics and sloppy gameplay. Overall, I'd say that game was a disappointment. Which is a shame, because I had high hopes for it.

About Alice and Reimu in the situation you described, both Reimu and Alice comeback later on.

I finished the game earlier and I'd really like to know what about the storyline. It looks like it happens in some place other than Gensokyo and it seems like the Reimu from Gensokyo has been summoned in the Eastland dimension.

What I think happened is that the Reimu from Eastland died and was temporarily replaced with the Gensokyo by Yukari in order to solve what is going on. Upon learning Reimu's death, Alice bailed for a while.

I am playing ~ Nightmare of Sleeping Girl. It's cute but the game seems to have some bad balancing issues. You'd think that more expensive = better when it comes to character balancing, but instead the expensive characters do not have the stats to justify their cost. This results in characters like Wriggle, Letty and Cirno, all of which can be unlocked very early, being way better than Remilia and Flandre. In fact, Remilia is probably the worst character because of that. Rumia is probably the only low cost character who is actually not worth levellling up.

If anyone is still playing the Touhou FE game, I'll just post the characters I've gotten so far.

Byakuren - Talk to her with Yukari.
Prismriver sisters - automatically recruited after the stage where Komachi joins.
Akyuu - Talk to her with Yukari
Tewi - Talk to her with Yukari
Mokou= Talk to her with Reimu
Chen - Talk to her with Ran, she joins on a later stage.
Sakuya - Talk to her with Reimu
Wriggle and Mystia - They can be recruited during the stage where they are your allies, but they leave after clearing the stage.
Seiga + Yoshika - Talk to Seiga with Reimu, then talk to her again with Yukari.
Hatate - Bring Aya next to the door of the house on the bottom right area of the castle level where you first get Aya.

Ignore everyone when they tell you Alice is a caster.
Her DEX passive makes her godlike with bows so long as you spend her points on AGI.
This becomes arguable from Lv40 through 60 since she gets Flare (which has 500%MTK scaling) by killing Patchouli

Also, Barrier and Shield are stupidly important, but no character has both on AoE. Pic related; it's what a boss fight looks like without defensive buffs.

Sakuya, Murasa, Satori, Alice, Reimu, Byakuren

Put both shields up/upkeep and concentrate on healing with Reimu and Byakuren, Satori should use "Full Contact"(フルコンタクト) and upkeep it while the other characters focus on nuking.

Using Satori in here is kind of a gamble here since she gets easily killed due to her weakness to fire. Funny thing is that all the other front rows are earth element... which kinda makes it even more of a gamble.

If you can, get yourself the champion belts accessories(+100hp) back in the snow village and equip them on all the characters. It really helped me out.

This is just my personal take on things, so it should be horribly wrong.

From my understanding, selling stuff at a convention is just a way of participating at the convention. You don't really divide people into "buyers" and "sellers", and you don't necessarily go in to make a profit. I think for the most part you're just there for the kind of culture you see in warugaki's report mangas.

And then with digital distribution, it's the opposite. You do have the distinct buyer and seller, and there's almost no interaction between the two. Just money changing hands.

>>10433122
Hell if I know. CDs, cases for the CDs, probably a short manual and inset.

Because HTML, unlike PDF, can be read from any computer without installing additional software, is interactive, and can contain multimedia? There usually also is a readme file whic deals with technical questions about installation and startup.

Actually, I had done so years ago when I worked on the English patch for MariAri. They haven't changed their format since then.

If you understand python, you should be able to figure out how it works pretty easily. It's not a complicated format. The only pitfall I had was the CRC of the filename (entry['unk1'] in the script), since I had never considered taking the CRC of the filename.

For the most part I just eyeballed it. There's only so many ways to make an archive; it's a bunch of files stored in one, so you (usually) need a filename, the size of the file, where the file starts, etc. It's just trying to figure out what's what.

>> No.10436366

Okay, yeah, but if you get pass the encryption there's only so many ways.

For encryption, you usually do need to use a runtime debugger like OllyDbg. That's significantly more complicated for the most part. If you're seriously interested in trying to do anything with that, you'll need to learn some basic assembly. C or C++ and the Windows API or GDI is also helpful. Python is a good language in general for the tools, but I'd say that just learning python or another high level language won't be very helpful when trying to decode file formats.

You can try the demo from their site, it is rather long. Most puzzles are needed only if you are after secrets and usually can be solved with logic and not trial and error.
