Being able to buy 'tiles' and nothing else is MUCH MORE epic than this. It really helps to get the turns over faster during my lunchbreak, I can even facebook at the same time and just casually play through the game. Its seriously a great game, worth every penny. Just get the EPIC Gods & Kings expansion for some more goodies.

Believe me, I don't want non-stop action. I dislike how eu3 is so anarchic. I'm totally fine with less warfare and I love economic and political management.

But the problem is that nothing happens, even though it was a time of great changes. At the end of most games you still have a big Austria, monarchies everywhere, sometimes no united Germany and Italy, etc... It's just boring. The world will look almost exactly the same than at the beginning.

This sort of paradox games are basically Microsoft paint+map = the game.

Gets boring after you play out all the interesting events. EU3 especially, since Vic 2 can be entertaining for some time after that because of political and economical processes.
